the phone is already out in dubai a few days ago. i bought it and it is great and it has a secondary camera unlike the specs in gsm arena.

In Romania it will be released on 15th Dec.07, at a price of 640 Euro. I guess it's an approximative release date for all over the world.

Customers are ready to pay some more if you upgrade the phone with little bit more like 256K color, 4+ MP camera, GPS ect...

Imate Chairman says, 6150 is not in the market for problem. Is it the reason that is taking time to launch? Phone like Imate features, should have atleast 4 MP camera. The website http://www.welectronics.com/gs...atemain.html says the price is US$695. How they determine the price is the phone is not in the market? My question is with US$695, am I getting only 2 MP camera without Flash... Dont understand if it is worth

I don't think that 65k TFT is correct, it must be 256k TFT... with VGA!

i-Mate (as usual) has again delayed these phones. It seems as though it won't be until December at earliest before worldwide shipping. Frankly, I don't think they will even make that deadline given their past performance. What a shame that they release these teasers and then don't deliver on the product. Look at the E-TEN X800 if you want similar specs to this phone... and don't worry, you won't miss the extra 64MB RAM unless you're some heavy Pocket PC gamer.

The 6150 is pretty much the same as i-mate Ultimate 8150. The difference is that 8150 has a 12 keys keyboard on front and 6150 having 2.8" VGA 65K Color TFT LCD screen, while 8150 have 2.6". Both is goooood! And the price will not be to scary :)

Pretty stuff!! Only wish there could be a full qwerty candy bar version. A screen resolution of 640x480 is the minimum for a modern hand-held pc or smartphone.
