Correction, the Dubai based company itself will remain in business, but are having difficulty with their US distribution system and did indeed shut down their Washington state home office and virtually all employees are gone. Since there is no US distribution I guess it will be more difficult to get US compatible products and support, but not really impossible.

I-mate has apparently laid off most of their work force and are going out of business. Don't sit around waiting for anything further from them, and pray you don't need manufacturer support for existing products.

Except for Ultimate 7150 and 9150, all other models in this series look like 90's. They are powerful but no businessman would enjoy carring bricks. I will suspect we will have to wait for the next HTC models...

Bad news...I-mate has removed 7150 from their Ultimate series...Now there is no sign of this phone on their website as well...
Bad News Indeed...I was also waiting for this phone because of its design, screen and specs...

Hi Guys, i have a bad news, few months ago i preordered uluomate 7150 from expansys. today i recieved an email from expansys saying that imate has cancelled ultimate 7150, and therefore they send me notice of the cancellation of my order.
well finally the myth of long waited 7150 is over.
i have a imate jasjar phone which is working perfectly. it is almost similiar to 7150 in shape and specs. the only reason i wanted to get 7150 was that my jasjar doesnt have fm radio and tv out.
well thats sad

can't wait to get this pda. hope i-mate will bring it very soon to market, because I'm waiting since its announce ONE YEAR AGO!!!
this is the best design for a pda to be REALLY useful, and it has all the feature to be the htc omni n.1 rival. A standard SD slot and battery compatible with universal would make this design perfect!

This PDA doesn't support GPS & the camera is just 2MP.
Guys just compare it with O2 XDA Orbit 2 AKA HTC Touch Cruise.

I don't know why this website mentioned this phone as cancelled. It is available in middle east area. I myself saw it in a shop in Saudi Arabia for around 855 dollars.
It is avaiable in black color.
