the spec is good also..u can play youtube via video streaming..and a lot of FM is right on your hand..u can play FM via internet select ur country as well from abroad...live. ..but what i dont like is the letter recognition..its hell when u text using ur mother language other than english.

But it doesn't mean its not user-friendly, the presence of the number pad with joystick is really cool, and easy to get used to. However, as common to all windows mobile, it has the screen qwerty. I hope its clear.

its a great device its ok yes the batterie does not serve you for a long but this is normal comparing to it features and speed,
comon guys its a full PC in your pocket as simply as it is, be nice with and deal with your device as you're dealing with your "fiance" and you'll be fine just be nice with it.
however, this huge processing power consumes batteries quickly, so I won't be surprised if this device cannot complete the day without recharging.

More on battery life: I seem to get more battery life when network setting on phone is GSM. Appears to be 3G that runs the battery down. One problem, signal on GSM is terrible. Often there is no signal where my previous PDA would have no problem. Of course, the selling point for this PDA is 3G data service, but with current battery life this unusable. Also switching networks appears simple, but often doesn't work.

hey........ Good phone but one big problem.. battery time is more than worse... i hate its battery... over all phone features, functions are good.. camera is not as gaood as it should be.. i think i wasted money on buying this stupid phone..
Moral: Dont buy this phone.. if wana buy this then better buy 2 extra battery with this stupid expensive thing..

This would be a great phone/PDA but for a couple of drawbacks. When the battery is flat it won't charge from the USB port. Just hangs. Battery life is terrible. My new 8150 gets about 30hrs from a full charge with no activity on the phone whatsoever. Moderate activity, brings this down to under 20 hours. For international flights this means fully charged in Sydney and your phone won't work when you get to London. Not much point in a phone that will stream internet video, but needs recharging every few hours.

I bought my 8150 from Jacky's in Dubai in Jan 08 shipped to Kenya and it was DOA. I tried a friend's battery and it worked. I called and emailed the shop and they insisted I ship back the unit. They shipped it back claiming they had fixed "the software problem" but I still could not start up the unit. Tried again with the friend's batt and it worked. The shop insisted that I ship it back again and this time they installed a new batt. The phone worked fine for a day until I tried to use the camera. It hung on the camera icon - never started. Soft and hard resets just give the blue boot up scren and it hungs there. It cant shut down with the button and I have to remove the batt. Feel like hitting the phone against a wall and get the satisfaction - I bought the phone in Jan and I have never used it!!

guys, i live here in the philippines. can u pls help me what softwares can i install on this device and the best site to get them so that it can benifit me a lot on my nursing profession? can i also install emulator on i-mate 8150 so that i can play my favorite pokemon game, like pokemon pearl and diamond?thanks a lot for spending time with these. Take battery out and leave out of phone for more than one hour. then put back and charge with original charger. hopefully it will work for you
