To the guy who says his heart beats faster whenever he looks at this phone can I suggest he look at the stars a bit more often and consider how important such a temporal device is in the scheme of things.

Oh yes...I am delighted that this phone has FM radio. FM is free, fast and friendly when it comes to business news! So many devices have excluded FM eg HTC TyTN II and Nokia E61i which is a huge mistake. So taking all into consideration I will have to go for the i-mate Ultimate 7150 because of the QWERTY and a second phone such as Nokia's N95 8GB because of its rich multimedia features. It is clear that you can't get it all on one device!

Is the phone really out in the Middle East? Has anybody used the phone? Many have said that WM limits colour depth to 65K so how come i-mate managed 262144 colours?? The prospect of VGA resolution on a 2.6 inch display is mouth watering!
I disagree with i-mate in one aspect: it is designed for serious work so why did they use the alpha numeric 12 key system instead of the QWERTY? I-mate attempted to cover all styles with their Ultimate series but they missed out the candy bar QWERTY as seen in phones such as Nokia E61i and Blackberry 8300. Sure they have 7150Ultimate but this is too bulky. Palm Treo 680 and Blackberry 8300 all have similar widths to the i-mate 8150 so they could have easily placed a QWERTY on it.

now out in middle east...price range iss bet 3100 to 3350 dirhams.i mate will also relaunch its club imate website.check this out in GITEX.

New render of the black 8150 on club imate looks nice.
Has a silver thumbstick with more shaping/bevel around the adjoining buttons. Wish it was thinner though :(
Seems like a mid Oct. release, ~$650.00 USD. I'm going to wait. The 8600 Luna is nice but it's no 3G PDA :P

According to me Imate 8150 rocks. Excellent specification. It will be launched in October 2007. And will be available in India max. by 1st week of November. The price will be approx. Rs. 40000/-. A bit expensive. But an awesome piece and worth buying.

Zzzzz.... it's passed around 7 months, and i-mate says nothing. It's heard that they are going to have financial problems. I found that I'm wasting my time, I should have bought HTC from the begining.

Aren’t we exaggerating with all these opinions, it looks like somebody wants to make some sort of speculation on this phone and jack up the price for this phone.

I have been waiting for this pda for months now. Every day I log on the clubimate website for news of the launch but nothing.
Now HTC TyTN II seems to be launched soon and it too looks a great PDA. So the one who will launch the PDA I will buy it.
