This phone 9150 will cost around 1599 USD ,,
and will be released on FEB-2008 ,

How dare i-mate to cancel the phone?Peaople were voting for it and giving quite good score and i-mate screwed it all.I waited for it for couple months!I prefered that phone rather than iPhone,but now i think i have to buy iPhone,shame on i-mate!:(

It is an incredible device. As I checked with i-mate, they informed me that the device has not been canceled but it has been delayed for some time and it would be released on early 2008. That is posted on their website as per the link provided by Chicco. I think this delay is caused just to ensure that the device will be released without bugs and stuff. It will be the device of 2008. Am sure about what am saying. Wait to see that..

Absolutely unprofessional of Imate to cancel the phone. The brand suffers a devastating blow on image and reliability. Might as well just cancel the entire ultimate lineup because one never knows if Imate will be around.

how could you simply cancell this phone. how could you do this to consumers. i waited for this phone since it was last announced back on febraury. and now you are saying cacelled. i knew it was too good to be true. that is not good for imate at all. look at the rating this phone got. 8.5 and more. i know a lot of people who refrained from getting anyother phone to buy this one. and you finally cancell it. that is not good at all. by all means.. it is a negative reputation for imate..

Well from the Specs i can assure you that it is a great phone. in contrast to what is posted and as stated on i-mate website http://www.clubimate.com/ultim...t9150.htmthe phone is not cancelled but delayed and shall be coming to the market by Early 2008.
From my own perspective i would still wait to buy this phone as i am sure it would be great and would meet my expectations!!

Many of you cannot seem to understand the revolution. PDAs and smartphones are multimedia devices. If you call yourself "ultimate" and then place substandard camcording and stills photography you may as well not bother placing them in the device. Nobody is asking them to perform as well as dedicated equipment; but standards have to be adhered to. Business and pleasure go hand in hand. If you can't relax, you can't work. People want business and pleasure on the SAME device. The businessman will only get irritated when he pauses to relax and has to settle for lousy videos and stills when companies such as Nokia have proved time without number that you can have it all. I commend I-mate on the business side of the phone but the pleasurable side has to meet contemporary standards.

i hav been using a no2 atom exec i exchanged my phone with a cozin of myn who has a n95 the phone was sad big tym!!! after usin a pda like my o2 using a nokia is really uncomfertable as they are really bulky full of errors and software problems...... i had bought a 8800 sirrocco for my dad thinking that ths must be one phone with no software problems at all but this phoe which is not supposed to have anything in it which is just a simple phone for calling and messaging had problems in it..... how can nokia be soo sad this just prooves tht using a pda is any day better than using a NOKIA

I can't wait to get my hands on this SUPER PHONE! Wow - the processor, Wi-FI, A2DP, and HSDPA capabilities make this a very impressive phone! I am also a MAC ADDICT, and I am sad to see that the i-phone has NO 3G!!!! This phone has saved the day for me! Does anyone have any idea when it will be avilable to buy on the web or US?
