hi, im thinking about getting the 9502,but concerned about the GPS ability, as it doesnt use a Sirf star III chipset. How does the GPS perform ? Does anyone know how it compares to a standalone GPS unit? Is the 9502 assisted GPS?

> In reply to Dan @ 2008-05-17 09:15 from ppnDHey, I have the same setup and was able to get my 9502 working with igo 8!!!! Just follow these steps:

- Download GPSGate (Google it) and install it on your phone
- Turn GPS on via wireless manager
- On GPS gate (skip the wizard) , on input, select a com port and go to settings, select COM9 with a baud rate of 19200.
- Tap open on GPSgate to get the port open.
Launch igo , done!!!!!!
