Just days after LG unveiled its next generation smartphone, the G4, there are reports that a smaller variant of the flagship is in the making.
Dubbed LG G4C, the device (model number LG-H525N) has been spotted on a Dutch retailer's website, which is claiming that it will be launched on May 12, and will set you back €295 ($330). There's no word on the specifications though.
While smartphone manufacturers do tend to come up with compact versions of their flagship devices, it's difficult to understand why the company would want to release one (assuming that it is) so quickly. Needless to say, none of this has been officially confirmed, so take it with a heavy dose of salt.
ViaConsidering the price and previous G stylus series, I guess it will not be flagship spec.
I hope was hoping this would be the size of the G4 since the g-flex had a 5.5 inch screen. There's no real sense in LG offering no 5 inch phones worth mentioning, I guess they're too focused on the Asian market were phablets are apparently preferred.
