hello. i have been a new user of this phone (lenovo a690), and I really enjoying this phone. my question is how can i expand the internal memory, co'z some of the application that i want to install need some more memory. how can i root my memory like what you said. hoping for your response. thank you :)

+ points.
1.Very good display.Better pixel density&colors.
2.Decent battery.
3.Good voice quality

-points.
1.Very low internal memory(100 MB) Remember you can't move all the apps to SD card. Even if you move it is partial.some part remains in phone memory.
2.Touch unresponsive at times.
3.Very weak GPRS connectivity. takes 5 min to download 200kb app. Youtube never opened on GPRS.
4.Wifi runs but slower than expected.
5.no HD video support even on MX player.
6.Still runs on 2.3.6 GB no updates forever.
7.Out of the box earphones are crap.

Negatives are more than expected. Please don't buy this phone just bcoz its cheap. This device is simply waste of money even at the cheap price.

this phone is kind of good, for internal storage problem, we can rooting this device, there is a lot information about how to rooting lenovo a690. i use this phone for 2 month untill now, and there is no problem on my handheld. the perfomance is very awesome for playing high end games, compare to price of this handheld.

an android smartphone is not 100% "open" software and rooting makes your device "hypnotized" to you. so that you can fiddle around in your system software. If you do it, your warranty goes of. go to xda developers or google and search : root lenovo a690

Affordable android fone.
nice pixel density.
can play some high end games.

Negative.
User interface is not that good.
Tft screen when composing msg. Is not good.
Low on internal storage memory 149mb only.

i hav nvr seen a phn like this........its vry smooth and fast,i have download some hd games like angry birds space hd,contract killer 1,2,frontline commander 1,2 n most wanted.its a wonderfull gaming device,buy it u love it, n dnt forget to root it.
