In fact I mean to say that readers should help provide us with balanced observations - the good aspects as well as the bad, areas it scores high and where it scores low. In this way people can make up their minds as to whether to go for it or not. So far I've been encouraged by certain aspects of the phone such as the battery life, the display and its smoothness, in addition to the aesthetic value. Hoping that more of such aspects will be brought to the fore by readers. Thanks

Also may e because of your country's tax is higher than india. I'm from malaysia and the price is comparable between south and south east asia country. It is not much different

It is normal because some oems include apple also getting a few problems after new model coming with new hardware. They will release patch updates to fix the problems. I always recommend my friend after buy new phone, check for update frequently if they don't to get trouble with the phone
ashraf-seif, 23 Jan 2017this phone or xiaomi Mi5 You want battery life, go for lenovo p2. You want sleek design go for mi5.both running smooth and fast for normal user. You can't see much different in terms of daily usage. If you play heavy graphic games better take mi5 because the gpu is much better than p2. Most games play without any problems with sd625 because i have tested with redmi 4 prime/pro sd625 same as p2. Running heavy games such as n.o.v.a 3, asphalt 8, modern combat 5, dungeon hunter 5 without much heat or lags

Harshith Yadalam, 24 Jan 2017Got update of 109 mbplease update and check microphone issue and camera...
It checks almost all the tick boxes for me except:
- Wi-Fi (it should have at least came with 5 GHz radio)
- Android updates (more likely it won't receive the next Android at all)
If I break my phone right now, I'd buy this in a heartbeat as it got the major specs right. I will have to wait for this year's One Plus's specs and price versus this one.

Manhunter , 23 Jan 2017Hi again. I never yet buy the phone though. Still thinking about it. The battery life, scree... moreI have the phone for a week now and I,m really enjoying it, especially the battery life. It's a lot more different to not think about charging your phone every day, even twice. With this phone you can use it all day long. You just can't drain the battery in one day.

ashraf-seif, 23 Jan 2017this phone or xiaomi Mi5 The mi5 still is a flagship device, just compare the specs. The Lenovo P2 is just your average midrange phone.

Manhunter , 23 Jan 2017Hi again. I never yet buy the phone though. Still thinking about it. The battery life, scree... moreThe phone looks so premium in appearance, much like a high-end piece. Granted there's no way a mid-range phone will come with every single thing one may demand in a phone. But one wonders why all these flaws associated with the P2 in 2017! Users should please highlight more of such observations to guide those who have yet to make up their minds whether or not to go for it. Honestly I think a phone's appearance should match it's performance, or at least get close to it. I am one of those patiently waiting in the wings regarding its procurement. Readers should please help. Thank you.
Anonymous, 23 Jan 2017Does this phone have dark black theme to be used for AMOLED? Does android have a black theme w... moreThere is experimental setting in P2 for "color invert" which makes everything black, but in my experience its not best to use, becouse there is some weirdness in some apps.
What I did, I installed Nova launcher and choosed black theme there, so app drawer is black. But settings is not black.
Imo, Android 6.0.1 does not have black theme by default, we must get Android 7 for that.
Overall I would say P2 is about 60-70% optimized for black theme in Android 6.0.1.
Whenever I can I choose black themes manually in each application.
