Also, the internal storage mentioned 16gb but usable up to 8gb ??Why ?? For those ask about the external memory .. yes, it does support external memory up to 32GB, but user have to decide to use either 2nd SIM or an external memory card, good luck !
Just bought mine, blue ..so far work like a charm considering the price. Handsome design & perfect color I would say. Rear camera can shoot good low light environment. Front camera also good, have flash .. advantage for selfie . Volume not so loud but still good (I am not a fan of music, so not a problem). Screen size 5" just work perfectly with single hand operation which is very convenience. The battery can hold for one day operation, maybe due to low processor ?
Some drawback was, no assistive touch for this?? (I hate to push the volume button every time lock/unlock the phone). Also no black screen operation (in my other Lenovo, I can just double tab to lock/ unlock screen). Other from that, all is satisfactory ! I recommend this phone :D
can anyone confirmed that Lenovo vibe S1 lite can use Virtual Reality (VR) features or not????? please help me
Anonymous, 24 Jun 2016Does it have a stereo speaker? No, it is mono but good tho!
Can somebody confirm with the phone at hand if it operates in all the bands listed in the gsmarena specifications. In particular I would like to know if what it says for 4G bands is true:
LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 7(2600), 5(850), 8(900), 20(800), 38(2600), 40(2300), 41(2500)
Guys, do you have problem with the Snapchat resolution on this phone? In my case it cuts the bottom of the screen and you can't see anything at the bottom of the app!
Today I bought this phone and overall performance is just above the other mid-range smartphones. Works smooth, no lags at all, good camera and great screen. What I dislike in it is the scrolling, it is not very good, when scrolling in Facebook or Instagram for example sometimes when you scroll down just a little it scrolls few pages down, too sensitive. Another thing what I didn't like is that the front camera is too much zoomed in. But overall it is good phone for its price.

Still under 5.1, has micro sim, nano /mSD
Wish there are smaller 4.7inch option for the same specs. There are too much 5inch in the market. Waiting the xperia e5 to be true, but the price will be 25% more than the s1 lite?
I have this phone. Took it at a very reasonable price of about 236 USD from my romanian phone carrier. I am happy with this phone. It looks nice, has a good display and performs good. There are however 3 issues that I would like to mention, 1 of them major. Eventhough the phone has a battery of 2700 mAh it does seem to drain quite fast. A small or medium Powerbank and a car charger are absolutely necessary to get properly through the day. The phone also gets very hot. Hopefully the heating issue will not have any long term consequences. The biggest downside that I found however is the poor GPS accuracy. The lacking accuracy of the GPS takes GPS navigation to the limit of being useable. You drive along and suddenly the GPS snaps to a road several dozen meters away. Navigating to your location in a dense neighbourhood can get tricky as the GPS jumps around like crazy and keeps snapping to roads you are not in. I never had this issue with any other phone. I hope Lenovo is aware of this problem and provides an update as soon as possible!!
