Try enabling gesture and move it to 2 bars from zero. Check all exclusive programs. Soft reset and then ur phone will respond quick.
oh my gosh. terrible phone.
let me start, i treat this phone like a baby. never dropped it or anything. now heres my issues:
1. it freezes at least 6 times a day.
2. it loses my contacts at least twice a day
3. it freezes when i get 2 text messages within 5 secs of eachother
4. the texting is near impossible.
5. the battery sucks
6. this morning the camera stopped working
7. it starts out with very very low storage space
8. all of the ringtones on the at&t website dont even freaking work on it!
Does anybody know how to set an mp3 ringtone on the Incite. I have many songs, but on the ringtone settings they don't appear...
Got this phone last week. The screen takes more umph to use than say an iPhone, but with the registry tweaks and setup properly, it is now almost as responsive, (check out http://www.lg-incite.com). Also, be sure to install .net v3.5 from the microsoft site. It only comes with .net v2. Runnnig off of 3.5 GREATLY speeds it up.
Got mine for free at best buy on upgrade. Phone is decent. The mic sometimes doesnt work and sometime it freezes or wont launch programs even with plenty of program memory. I installed SPB mobile shell 3.0 on mine and love the soft reset option it gives for the phone. I agree the phone is buggy, which hopefully gets fixed with an update, but I have no grounds to complain, like I said it was free. I can deal with the minor buggy inconveniences.
this phone sux! I've had it for hte past 6 months and it keeps freezing and i have to keep taking the battery in and out. Do NOT spend anything on this phone!
Clinton, 23 Jul 2009Based on what I can see from the specifications, this phone is a touch of class. I want one now!!Clinton, this phone absolutely, positively SUCKS! Seriously, I've used on at AT&T stores and the screen is the most not-responsive thing ever. The phone is slow and laggy and buggy and overall was a horrible experience in the 5 minutes I spent with it. Personally I would say Iphone, or maybe some other Windows Mobile phone, but this one was a pain. At least try one out before you buy. good luck
This phone does not need a data plan. It has wifi. To use wifi, you have to disable the proxy (takes 30 secs...google it).
grace lupango, 20 Mar 2009this phone is not that good because i personally had one.. i had nothing but trouble with it..... moreLooks like you had one of the LG's which needed to be updated. What you have to do is download .Net Framework v 3.5 (2.0 is preloaded on the phone, I think) from the Microsoft website and then install it on the phone. Most phones problems are solved this way.
Do I need a data plan for this phone? Can I disable the internet entirely? Anybody have any info for me it would be greatly appreciated!

caleb, 11 Mar 2009I looked forward to getting this phone for so long, it was a big mistake getting it, if u like... moreU may have gotten a bad phone. After having probs for the 1st week... I certainly would have taken it back and exchanged it to be certain.
My hsbd & I both have this phone. My response to touch time is instant. His isn't great, but he put a thick clear skin over his so that seems to be interefering because he didn't have probs before
Lion, 02 Jan 2009I wrote a long comment for this site and the mods never posted it. So for whatever their decis... moreI totally agree with you about it being the user. I am upgrading from a treo 750 that i've had for 3 years. and after reading these reviews im hoping I didn't make a bad decision. my phone hasn't came in yet but maybe i'll be pleased.
