Menu> Messages> Settings> Text Message> Validity Period

this phone honestly is one of the worst phones i ever had, it shuts down on its own if you slide it closed.. so much more problems such as battery life after a month of using the battery life is short.. when you text the phone delays the keys so you wont see what your writing untill 5 seconds later! it fricken sucks!

It should say something like "Copy>>All to Sim"
it will only take a few moments to do so, and Voila your contacts are all on your sim cards.
Also when you go to "create" and save a contact on your phone it has the capability ( GIVES YOU THE OPTION) to save it on the phoen or simcard.
aswell if you want i did this with my phone. i made a duplicate. which means that i have a copy on my phone either way and on my sim card. i have like 4 phones with Rogers. w580/ LG shine/ Motorola Krazer and the BlackBerry Pearl 8100.

I've been trying to activate the alarm and it won't go off on the specified time when the phone is off but it does when it is on, why ? How do we manipulate it to let the alarm go off when the phone is not on ?

Dropped calls, VM arrives 2 hours -2 days late, battery dies too quick, turns its self off even though has a full battery, no service available once I dial even though several bars show, received a new phone replacement - but same problems with it too

How do i back up my contact list?
This should be easy but the only software I found: bitpim, does not list lg cu720. the phone limits me to 500 contacts but every number (ie cell home work) is a separate contact. If I cannot export and import my contact list, this phone is .... a major disappointment.
Help.

I have had this phone for over a year now, it has been turning itself off by itself for a while now and it has just started getting really hot and just draining the battery in 10-15 minutes. Is this a problem with the battery or should i get a new phone? any suggestions? thx
