ps. for themes/apps/tweaking the phone, i recommend http://www.lg-vu.com/index.php
lists all you can do with ringtones, themes, games, etc.
it also answers the question about ringtone restrictions . i think around 300kb, but dont quote me.

try to google some more before you complain about this and that

i dont know where the low battery complaints are coming from. i go home from school on fridays and the battery lasts me the whole weekend before i go back to school to charge it. and i'm not just letting it sit there, i'm constantly playing games/texting/browing internet. hard to believe i'm the only exception among all of you

i have this phone for almost a month and i love it. i dont understand the bad comments on it. the touch screen is easy and the menu is simple. its extremely light compared to the iphone. the only problem i have with it is it doesnt have access to gmail mobile email. but other then that it is a great phone i would reccomend to anyone.

I've had this phone since July (in Canada was available way earlier than elsewhere) and I have no good words for it. The battery life is ridiculously short (it's less than stated three hours of talk time!), the screen is completely useless on sunlight, the camera is below the today's standards, there is no additional software upgrade or any apps, no themes are available, the case is so easy to scratch and the interface for the comp-link is behind the competitors. Who's giving those high rate numbers and based on what?! The looks? If you actually possess the phone you'd think differently.

This phone has been a disappointment. I mean, everything seems good, the easy menu system and the touch screen option, but then hard-earn credits got forgone when it comes to the 2mp camera, sufficient but not sophisticated enough to match the other features, simply disappointing.

> In reply to Iceygirl @ 2008-09-15 02:57 from 470% - click to readYou can use any MP3 as a ringtone. However, there is a limit to the size and length. I don't know exactly what they are (can't find the documentation but through trial and error have found that out). I use audacity.com (free, small audio editor) to clip my songs into ringtones - then either bluetooth them to the phone or save them onto the memory card.

Can this phone switch to roam? I bought and unlocked it in the USA and want it to work with one of my Trinidad and Tobago sim cards but it's not working. What should I do?

Has anyone with T-Mobile had success with this phone? I know one person said they couldn't get the internet to work...but has everyone had that problem and also does the phonebook have groups so that texts can be sent to multiple people at once?

Because it drains your battery, and is a waste if you don't have 3G in your area.
