I need help, i cannot upload wallpapers or even anything onto phone from computer using mobile agent

Basically, there are two ways of getting ringtones onto the F1200. MP3 or MID files both types of ringtones can be obtained from various sites on the internet.
1. To transfer MID ringtone files onto the phone. You will need to use LG Mobile Agent to to do that. There is a limit on the size of the MID ringtone file - 50 Kbytes. Max is 20 MID files. Basically, you need to start the LG Mobile Agent and set the default MID file directory to where you have stored your MID ringtones on your computer and transfer them to your F1200 that way.
2. MP3 Ringtones it much easieras you do not need to connect using LG Mobile Agent software. You just connect your phone to your computer and it will recognise it like it is 'USB flash memory'. But before you can access the 64 MB memory on your phone. Don't forget to enter the access pin - default is "0000" or else you cannot download anything to your phone.

hi there. overall i like the phone. the only problem i have is that my phone doesn't work on xp and i can't seem to get any other ringtones other than those on the cd. i'm from sa and i can't find anyone who knows how the phone works. can anyone please help me with the ringtone problem.

How do u load pictures on the computer or load them on to the phone. I don't know how to use the LG Mobile Agent.
It takes such a long time to figure out how to load MP3 and etc. They don't really explain it clearly in the manual.

To upload/download pictures you need to install the Software that comes with the phone. LG Agent, once installed you can use it to transfer photos, wallpapers to/from your phone to your PC.
It not like MP3 file transfer where you can download file directly to the phone.

I brought this phone 6 weeks ago. Everything works fine. Setting up the LG agent software was pretty easy, once thats done you can download MP3, wallpapers, and MIDI's to the phone. The one thing I found out was that some MIDI file may not play on the phone - but they seems to be the ones with 12 channels or more.
The reception is very good, the battery life is ok - especially with 2 screens. The previous phones I have had Nokia, Motorola , SonyEricsson cannot compare. The twin speaker gives reason music quality if you like to play your MP3's out loud.
Overall, my best mobile phone to date.

Hey people,
I'm Andrew from Australia and I purchased an LG F1200 phone a few months back.
As of yet,I still cannot work out how to upload pictures that I have taken with the phone,onto the computer.
It certainly doesn't seem to be the same way you do it with mp3's so if anyone could help I would very much appreciate it...

Like the phone except that it can't set the downloaded MP3 as the ringtone of caller group.

When you turn this phone off it turns it self back on and says its charging WTF... then goes off then on and off and keeps doing it. Also it has no video recorder. otherwise its a good phone but nokia 6230i is the best. email me with questions!

i lookin at gettin the LG f1200 but there r a few things botherin me,can some 1 tell me if this fone supports video clips or not or can this fone take videos and also i hear the infra red only works with other comps and not with other fones,why? also i want 2 know if theres an upgrade to the f1200 that might have bluetooth or something

Well to load mp3s to the phone you connect it with the usb cable that comes with the phone then a pop up comes up saying theres new hardware fould go on that and in there it has next or somthing like that then it installs on the computer then go to the song you want to send to the phone then right click on it and go send to then there should be "NAND" mine sometimes says :F removable disk when that happens i disconects then reconect... and the front display turns off in about 10 sec and then you have to open the phone or press the middle play button on the outside. otherwise i think its a gr8 phone. any more questions feel free 2 ask!

like the phone but hate the fact the front screen turns doesn't display constantly. turns off after about 10 seconds. is this normal.
