how do i change from 2g to 3g? i have tried everything. i cant even text right now cuz it says "no network" service and all the bars are gone. please help me

I bought this phone on Thursday and got it set up with Virgin mobile, including creating my PIN. On Saturday, I found the security feature and decided to use it. On the prompt to enter my PIN, I entered the one I had created for my Virgin account, instead of the PIN for the sim card. Then the phone locked up and all I got was a message saying "PUK blocked", and the phone was disabled. How foolish of me to NOT realize that PIN has two or more meanings! Virgin & LG please note: "Dissatisfied Customer" really does mean "Dissatisfied Customer"! Tomorrow the phone is going back. BTW, did you ever hear the story about how one person tells two, then two tell four.... I am a teacher who sees over 100 teenage students each semester..... you do the math!

First day I got this thing it crapped out on me, locked it and I had to call the service provider. As if that wasn't fun enough on my birthday none the less, It freezes up, the screen stops working so nothing functions, it won't let me end calls or even play sounds any more because that stupid headphone symbol keeps coming back with no headphones even in it... I just woke up today and the symbol was back how the hell does it show up in the middle of the night by its self on a table ? Seriously I've only had it for seven months and it's the worst phone I'll never buy LG again nor touch screens. :(

this phone was good for the first few months and now at least twice a day it will freeze randomly and the only way to unfreeze it is to take out the battery and restart it. which sucks when you've typed a 5 page text message and it doesnt save to drafts -_-

Does anyone know how to unlock the screen, it won't let me using the touch screen. I've turned it off and on and I can stil receive calls but the screen just seems liked it's locked somehow?

It's quite a disappointing phone, this is my first phone and I hope to switch it soon. The battery life is quite good. The really disappointing part is how much I have to reboot it and how often it freezes and glitches out. Also, the touch screen is very poor, I have to either push really hard or use my finger nails to type on it. Very poor.

This is hands down the worst phone I have ever owned. Less than 6 months in use and my SECOND battery has already failed. At one point after removing my headphones the headphone icon did not disappear from the main screen so I was unable to answer calls or do anything. The touch screen sensitivity is TERRIBLE. It takes forever to load music/images. THIS PHONE SUCKS.

Great phone but pathetic manual...direct from LG....it says no voice activation...BUT IT DOES HAVE IT...but I can't figure out how to get voice commands on the home page for handsfree use in the car....I can't believe a company makes a product...creates a manual and does not have any information on how to use the feature....DUMB TO THE EXTREME....

i have had the phone for almost a year now. it does freeze up now and then but so does my buddy iphone 4s and by the way he is on the second 4s. I have had it in the washing machine a couple of times. all i need to do is let it dry over night and it goes a gain. the qwerty keyboard is totally useless to me. The speaker is really good and the reception is the better than any one o my freinds. It is an allright phone for its price

I do love this phone but i do not know how to add music OR add games... :'( And it freezes up on me when im texting and i have to take the battery out to make it work properly.... and where do you go to get it fixed for $20??????? Cause im thinking about doing that ;)
