i've use tis mobile phone for about 8-10 month...and the volume is quite low...and i can't even download songs and ringtones in2 this hp...it's so weird...and it seems like very unpopular...but i like this hp...the function is good, although thr r some problems with it.

It is worst phone in this world...I am using this phone from last 5 month and i dont have enough words to explain the bugs in this phone.Few one are:
1. When u use GPRS,100% it will hang.
2. Phone is very slow.
3. If u delete 4-5 sms or entry in call register then phone restart.
4. If sms is more than 100 then all the previous sms will jump to other places and difficult to find.
5. Battery life in stand by is only one day.
6. Call disconnect anytime.(Mostly after 1 hour and 4 minute contimuous talking)
7. volume is toooooooo slow.
8. And a major problem is ,after few seconds no display on screen.it looks like phone is turn off even phone is in stand by.If user want to see that phone is off or on then he has to press any key on phone.
At last the worst phone i have ever seen in mobile world.Now i have changed the mobile and found that "East or west Nokia is the best".

How interesting. Seems to me that Telstra must've changed something on their end that has screwed up majorly for LG G1600's MMS capability (I did find it odd that the profile they originally sent was called "Telstra GPRS" and now it's call "Telstra Active" - something must've changed).
I spent 2-3 hours on the phone with Telstra trying to rectify the problem but unfortunately they denied all liability for the issue stating that this phone is not a "Telstra approved handset". What bs.
They even at one point tried to offload the burden by sending me to LG with the default settings, saying that they would need to instruct me on how to input them into the phone properly. The LG call centre person simply laughed and said it's out of their hands - back to the service carrier!
OK, so now I at least know there's one more person out there with the same issue. If anyone else out there has run into this problem with Telstra, could you please email me at hunnee_dew@hotmail.com hopefully if i can get enough people with this perhaps we can forward this onto Telstra to address.

I have the EXACT same problem. I was able to recive MMS previously with Telstra but now I have to manually download them and I still get "Download Error". I appear to be able to send MMS but can no longer receive them (it used to work fine like for you!). If you find out PLEASE let me know!!!

Howdy all
I've set my phone up with Telstra (Australia) and received the MMS and WAP settings for the G7100 as LG have said they require identical settings. While WAP now works, MMS still doesn't (I've been with Tesltra previously and it worked then - now it doesn't). What's weird is that it receives a notification only (even though I have set the Auto Download to "on"), and when I try to receive the MMS it displays "Download error". Can anybody help me out? What am I missing here?

Im using LG G1600 from 1 yr
its the worst mobile i have ever used
i can not send picture msgs.i can not
download or send ringtones.& sound
is very low.

Hi all, I am using this phone from last 1 year and had no problems. Even it fell in water once and stopped for 5 hours again it started working fine. Display is excellent , Ringtone volume is low but sound melody.
FINALLY GOOD PHONE .

LG g1600 has no composer & it has very low sound. but u can avoid this problem by setting high volume ringtone. when we are using internet on this phone, it is comfurtable than nokia.

I am using this mobile for last 7 months. It is really a junk when compared with Nokia. The performance of color display becomes poor. No grip, No support from LG, Getting data cable is not possible, hangs often, has lots of bugs in operating system, will suit only for naive user who use only for messaging and talking. DO NOT GO FOR LG PRODUCTS

it is very good phone light,beutiful,easy to use and good capabilities with small size. but i have some problems like the ringing ton is not high and i cant find the soft ware to connect with the computer
