does g1800 have a speakerphone facility? Quality of sound? wud it be a good buy compared to nokia 6610? does a call get
disconected if a sms comes within the call?

hey sumit dude, thanx for u r suggestion 4 increasing the mp3 volume. but does this solution for increasing the volume cause damage to the phone or reduce the battery life . and do we have to get a new handsfree as u told it will damage the earpiece.thanx for u r help and plzz rep back..and whihc is the best handsfree whihc goes well wiht LG G1800 and has a gud sound effect..THANX..plzz mail me if it is possible for u ..

im using LG G1800. when i record a sound through sound recorder it records, but when i save the file it is not saving and it shows "empty folder". how to solve this problem. some one help me.

I bought the LG1800 recently. Not able to configure it to upload music to the phone from my pc. Reason, I have windows 98. Catalogue says I can download it from the site, the links are dead... Does anyone have the driver for Phoenix mass storage? I am told that if you have an xp system the driver is already configured... Help me and please send me the driver....

Anybody want to increase the mp3 volume?
do this.This works 100%.It increases till your headphone will damage.Its on you. How much volume to keep.
1. type *#3646633# Then one menu will come.

2. go to headset mode.

3. go to melody.

4. go to volume 5

5.increase it to 192(you can increase upto 255)

6.press back soft key

7.it will ask to update the parameters

8.press ok & exit

9.listen the songs.you will surely rock

got my g1800 mobile a weak back, it is really gud when compared with many other mobiles. Just saw some of the questions on the blog i think i can answer some,for file manager problem- update the flash file using com settings.... u can do it in ny lg authorised service center or by your self if u have the new flash file, phoenix driver and usb cable.
if you feel that the volume of audio files is low than you can do this, try for sound forge software open the audio file.... increase the volume save it and then move to your g1800 usb drive.
or
if you have noticed that playing a mp3 file as a ring tone with ringtone volume 7 has a higher volume than playing with the audio player with max volume....so u can do this add the file to ringtone and then play from tone setup...this will sound high...............
have fun with g1800 really a gr8 phone with hell a lot of memory................
