my g2 screen jitters like crazy until i can't properly see anything. it jitters for a while and then stops only for the display to shake again when i wake up the phone from sleep. pls help
All in all a good phone, good design, good software, but heats up after making a video with flash even for 5 minutes, and get I couldn't increase the brightness to 100%? Otherwise it worth buying because of smaller size as compare to others with the same display, so a good one as well with this price range,
kamran, 04 Jun 2016hey frends i want to buy this LG G2 phone.someone tell me opinion ?It's a very powerful phone but runs on an old OS. Also the design is bit out dated. Slippery plastic. But everything else is perfect. Superb camera with OIS with 1.12 pixel size which is again excellent. Shoots videos at 60fps. Runs on SD 800, quite a powerhouse SOC. Will handle any game you throw at it. No hiccups or lags whatsoever. Surpass any mid range phones of these days even though it was made 3 years ago.
ori, 13 Jun 2016Overall the phone has a very good performance, great camera (not in night mode), very good bat... morehave u tried to reset or reflashing a stock rom on it again. it is weird it seems software issue and not a hardware issue ... incredible that a pice could turn on and turn off something related to software on settings .. but well give a shoot and let us know by the way @rim passed away peace on his tomb
ShazzadHossen, 01 Jun 2016I'm interested to purchase LG G2. But after seeing a drop test on YouTube of G2 I'm bit confus... moreOverall the phone has a very good performance, great camera (not in night mode), very good battery life and some other features that im sure u have checked yourself already. The only problem though i have met myself recently, i just dropped my phone while removing it from charging, from chair down, and wifi doesnt work anymore. I really love this phone, but its such a shame that i am throwing it away just by one small drop. Maybe some will think that i can use it without wifi. In fact i tried that, but the wifi stays connecting, and i cannot turn it on or OFF. so it drains the battery and heats the phone. conclusion: good to use it, but one drop and u need a new phone. hope my comment will help on your decision. :)
Fern, 02 Jun 2016I've had this phone for two years and it has been working fine since. I've dropped it several ... moreI have the same problem. Nothing shaking inside, but just wifi wont connect anymore. I sent it to service and they told me they need to replace the IC chip responsible for wifi and bluetooth. But there is a high chance that they ruin the phone in the process of installing the new chip cause apparently it needs high professionalism and tools to do it right. Conclusion: just one drop from half meter of the phone and im throwing it away. Used to love this phone, now im just pissed off with it.
Anonymous, 29 May 2016hey guys, I'm thinking of purchasing this phone. can anyone who owns it tell me about batt... moreBest bet and best phone in all conditions ,fits ur budget and super fast just mindblowing better then samsung it never hangs
milan82, 07 Jun 2016There is no point to wait official update from LG. Android N will be released soon. I am using... moreare you sure .... i dont think so as for now most of the custom romas are crap .. why because are incomplete and have bugs ... even the stock rom has them .... but the worst part of these issues are related to avery poor volume . we lose driver for the camera meaning that we get bad quality ... well unless you want performance over quality then go ahead a do it .... it is better for me to stick to the stock rom 5.0.2 wich has correct drivers for sound and camera so i wont be bothered by a low a dn poor sound quality ... cloudy is not perfect but is the only custom rom that i think i could use if i want g4 ux but not any other the ones for ndm , icex , unicors and other s are ugly .. and that stupid thing resizing the navigation buttons and notification bar to the smallest option avaliabl;e .. i dont have princess hands i have a man hands ...
gigigig, 09 Jun 2016I'm planning to buy this phone but only the 16gb variant. Any suggestions on how to free some ... moreYou are able to use 10gb only from 16gb
And it Doesnt have sd card slot
So Do your best to find 32gb variants or choose another phone
I'm planning to buy this phone but only the 16gb variant. Any suggestions on how to free some memory?? Btw, I can only buy the 16gb since there are no more 32gb available.
Had it for about a year. Buying a new one for 230 $ was nothing but a complete steal. It's a beast and it just keeps on going. Solid battery run times! 7 hours SOT, 1,5 hours of browsing, 30 percent brightness.
Anonymous, 29 May 2016hey guys, I'm thinking of purchasing this phone. can anyone who owns it tell me about batt... moreThis phone keeps up well with everything! Games, videos, name it. Just buy it and you won't regret it. Get a good casing and a tempered glass screen protector and you're good to go.
Fern, 02 Jun 2016I've had this phone for two years and it has been working fine since. I've dropped it several ... moreI quite agree with you. Mine is over 18 months and not a day have I questioned my decision to buy the beast. It's been a wonderful ride and I think I'll stick to LG for a long time to come.
There is no point to wait official update from LG. Android N will be released soon. I am using Bliss Custom ROM with android 6.0.1 for some time and everything works great. More info about this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.co...iss-t3290984
DaveN78, 06 Jun 2016I've also read that Verizon have just released Marshmallow for the LG G2. Can someone confirm?... morei verry much doubt theres a grain of truth in that.
As far as im concerned its a old phone and wont see further upgrades period.
Anonymous, 04 Jun 2016I guess Verizon model have received 6.0 marshmellow update... Is it true... Any one who have r... moreI've also read that Verizon have just released Marshmallow for the LG G2. Can someone confirm? I'm assuming if Verizon have indeed done this then Android 6 will soon come to carrier unlocked phones. I'm swaying between buying a LG G2 or waiting for the Blackberry Hamburg.
Lately my phone displays white vertical lines on the screen. After some googling i found out some kind of screen connector when lose can cause this problem. Has any one else experienced this and what is the workaround. I don't want to send it to repairs and waste money on a screen replacement only to realise the problem still persists.
This is the best phone i ever purchased. I have been using this phone since 2 yrs and it didn't even show a problem. It is working as fine as new. I have also dropped it several times bt nothing happen to the screen or touch. I also played several high resolution games and it didn't hang. After 2 yrs my phone is working as new. It didn't even hang. Battery life is also too good. Its been a wise decision from me to purchase this phone.
