This phone is amazing. Display Touch. But camera quality is very worst.
sriraj2, 31 Oct 2015Will it be safe flashing back to stock rom??No intervention with the system files is ever completely safe. Just be sure to read properly, check everything twice and follow the guidelines on XDA properly.
You will see. And even if it fails and breaks more, I read something about how to possibly restore even completely unresponsive devices a while back, so you have not exhausted all your options yet.
i just playing games like COC
what's phone you suggest to me between this lg g2 or galaxy j7

You can at least try to unroot it, if you have at least some control. The third item on the top menu will take you to the setting, then scroll down until you find the highlighted symbols. That means "language" in Korean. From there, the first item on the looong list of languages should be the default language of your phone, so try that, maybe it will switch to something comprehensible.
But basically, yes. Flashing back to stock ROM is the surest way to hopefully eliminate any and all problems, your rooting attempt may have caused.
pino, 30 Oct 2015if its still black you cant onruut this way but there is a full unroot option in the settings ... moremy suprsu was in korean language so i cant even undrstand it

Rim, 30 Oct 2015So by "black" screen you mean you can't even boot the device?
Most guides for rooting etc ... moreno i can do the hard reset
but the problm remains same
its saying the home is not responding and i cnt even go to menu but i can go to the settings by dragging the toolbar
i think supr su messed it up
wht will be bettr fr me????unroot this or root it again????
I dont think there will be any updates for G2. LG dont care anymore, for them is a old device.I am very disappointed from the lollipop and from the updates policy and from LG like all. For me is my last LG device, but i wish to see g3 and g4 owners what will say when they will be at my place.

Most guides for rooting etc recommend you to get custom recovery first and create a nandroid backup. Did you do that? If so, you can try to get into recovery and see if you can't solve it by wiping cache and Dalvik or flashing your backup file.
If you didn't do that, you can try recovery anyway. Power down the device, then hold the power button and volume down buttons until you see the LG logo. Then release both buttons and press them again. Hold those buttons until you see a white screen asking you to confirm that you want to perform factory reset and are acknowledging that you will lose all your data. (Sorry, I don't know if it's the same for Verizon variant but let's pretend it is)
If that didn't solve it or you can't get into recovery at all, you probably have to follow this guide- http://forum.xda-developers.co...hp?t=2432476

Anonymous, 30 Oct 2015please house, how can i activate LTE in my lg g2 d802In the Settings- Mobile Network and so on. Try to dig around. Also make sure the phone has the right frequencies for your area and your sim is LTE-capable (simcard issued during the past few years usually are, but if you have an older one, you might need to get it replaced). If nothing else helps, you can access hidden menu or testing menu and set the preferred network to LTE there (but you risk disabling the phone's connectivity altogether should you set something wrong, so try to read up on it first).
So, here I am again with my little report on the use of Cloudy G2 3.3
First thing I noticed were the overall aestetics. The animations feel more snappy and lively for me than they did on stock 5.0.2 but the icons were a letdown. I liked the circular design of the old icons, whereas the Cloudy icons are all much more Material-like which means rather cumbersome blocks. But I have to admit, that overall the Material design seems to be much better implemented and consisten than it was on the stock Lollipop.
Next in line are the LG gimmicks. There are lots of improvements regarding the buil-tin functions and features such as calculator or remote control. To list some of the new ones, there's a "disk sweeper" utility, Dual Window apps (that one is pretty useful), LG Health (mostly pedometer always reminding you to move that ass) and Smart Bulletin (additional screen with some appointment widgets, aforementioned pedometer and such). On the other hand... I'm not sure if I misclicked during the installation or if Cloudyfa just took the "debloating" of his ROM a bit too far but along with tons of Googleware, the stock App Manager dissappeared too and I really missed that one. There are more ways to replace it but I don't know, I just liked the old one for its simplicity and speed. But reinstalling it was straightforward enough (should somebody need the App Manager files, give me a holler, I might yet find them and send them to you). Otherwise, Cloudyfa's debloating seems fairly sensible to me.
Last gimmick I'm going to mention is the Viper4Android. That one really hit the spot. It's an app designed for audio tweaks and if you set it up right, it really, really improves the sound output. But if you want to try the app, you should refrain from just ramping everything to max, because if you overdo it, it might damage your hearing and/or the phone. Especially in combination with other "loudness boosters" out there.
Finally, the performance. I have to agree, the ROM is a powerhog. Especially with the Viper enabled. But if you flash yourself some third party Kernel such as the Dorimanx, it can be tweaked very well. I read up a bit on stuff like the CPU governors, hotplugs and such and then I fixed myself a little "battery saving" profile with some CPU underclocking and workload distribution tweaks. With this, I lost about 13% in Antutu, but the phone lasted well over two times as long (both in SOT and overall on state) when compared to its default.
PS. If you want to use Xposed, you don't have to check that "prepare for xposed" checkbox during the installation. They already fixed the problem in the latest release of Xposed so there is no further need to disable LG Weather and Quick Cover support, except if you don't like them.
PPS. I use WiFi so I guess I can't really vouch for 3G/LTE functionality but other services such as WiFi, Bluetooth or GPS work just fine.
