A leaked user manual of the upcoming LG G3 mini smartphone confirms that the device will be officially known as G3 S.
The user manual of the G3 S that has been leaked, carries the model number D772V and is said to be the Vodafone version. Apart from confirming the naming scheme, the manual doesn’t reveal much about the internal hardware of the smartphone.
LG G3 S is rumored to sport a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The device is said to be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset and is expected to feature 2GB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera and 16GB of inbuilt memory.
The software on the G3 S will remain largely similar to that on the G3, so you can expect the G3 mini to pack all the goodies from the company’s flagship smartphone.
Update: The phone has also appeared on the Chinese Tenaa certification authority website. Thanks to the government certification agency, we can see the phone in its full glory.
According to Tenaa, the phone measures 137.75 x 69.60 x 9.99 mm and weighs 134 grams.
LG is expected to launch the G3 S aka G3 mini in various markets across the globe. Previous leaks suggest that the device will be sold by AT&T in the United States. Unfortunately, there is no word on the pricing and the availability details of the smartphone just yet.
