Please never buy this phone.most of g4 mobiles have a hardware issue due to manufacturing defect.a boot loop failure issue is occur and you never can repair this unless you replace the motherboard.LG does not give a proper solution for that.thousands of users suffer due to this.I also faced that.just used my phone about 5 months.now only I can do is hit the dogs by it.Lg is the worst brand I ever used.please don't use LG.
AnonD-346045, 16 Jun 2016what a liar ....i have this phone since 1 year and i didn't face any problem that is you said ... moreSeem that lg haters are troling here....whatever dude!!
It's been a month since I upgraded mine to Android 6. I haven't had any problems with battery, and not only does it charge quickly, the battery also lasts.
who could give me tips or tricks to save my battery in the cel I always use the brightness at 40 percent and use wifi but the battery is too low fast I am on facebook and 1 percent each 2min is low ... the truth is disappointing .
If your battery is down too fast, it's not cellphone to be blamed. Turn off GPS and other things you are not using. If you are still not satisfied, buy another battery. I personally made a special case for my phone that fits +1 battery and it lasts for 2-3 days. So please, don't ever blame the battery
Never had any problems after 8 months of use, almost perfect phone expect the battery...
Had my LG G3 all these while for 2 years but dropped it and spoilt.
Now having my LG G4 (H818P) because G5 is just too darn expensive!
Anyway, having MM and so far no issues except the hardware issue with proximity sensor with blank screen during a call. Fixed it from youtube.
Besides that, a great phone with awesome display. Owned Oneplus, Xiaomi, Samsung and Sony phones. Prefer LG over the rest (might consider OP3 later)
Very bad experience with this phone. Had LG G4 for last 5 months initially the battery life was ok. Had an update it definitely started getting used up more ever since. Started having glitches on my screen like noise. The phone started rebooting! and kept on rebooting! to an extent that it stays on only for ten mins now. Did system reset, wiped all the data but the phone keeps going into reboot over and over. No solution to the problem either.! Now the phone is merely a brick for me a costly one that too! 500 AUD
Lenz, 16 Jun 2016This phone that I have owned has already been repaired THREE times. And yet this is a flagship... moreIn December I purchase one I was so excited then after 5 months OMG the battery start overheating I'm unable to turn on wifi the saddest part about it after I fully charged the battery after 30 minutes the battery needs to charge whether I was using it or not.I'm not using it anymore pissed for so much money!!
AnonD-550433, 18 Jun 2016Ok first of all , stop saying someone is lying because he had a bad experience with his device... moreI agree about poor battery. Mine is in for repairs for the second time and as soon as it comes back i am selling it. Totally done with lg. The phone gets so hot that its hard to keep in my pocket. I believe I'll go back to Samsung. I got my g4 in December but it feels like I've been using my old s3 a good part of the time while the lg is in the hospital!
AnonD-550695, 19 Jun 2016Hello everyone and lg fans.. I'm actually facing a problem updating my lg g4 ls991 lollipop to... moreTry to update from pc with Lg PC Bridge.
Hello everyone and lg fans.. I'm actually facing a problem updating my lg g4 ls991 lollipop to marshmallow..here are the details;
When I get a notification for the ota update availability, I actually download the update it's about 900mb. Then another notification saying "Android System Update Downloaded", I opened it and I was asked to install it and the phone will reboot automatically. When the phone reboots, I see the Android logo and the update begins to install but at a certain level i get "ERROR" message.. And all I can do is to unplug the battery and put it back for the phone to restart, and after doing that the update is gone and it is not installed.. AnonD-550433, 18 Jun 2016Ok first of all , stop saying someone is lying because he had a bad experience with his device... more100% correct. mine H818N. same issue. serious battery drain issue. i think issue is related with screen resolution. i Request LG to give option to reduce resolution to 1080p or even 720p. what is the use of 2160p if we cant use it for more than 3 hours.
been thinking about buying the G4 h818 version, is it recomended?
So is the phone good or not? I need a solid answer
AnonD-550433, 18 Jun 2016Ok first of all , stop saying someone is lying because he had a bad experience with his device... moreI had the same problem with the battery after the MM update. You MUST do a Factory Reset after the update. You will see the battery improvement. Always turn off GPS and Wifi if not in use!! GPS will kill your battery in no time. gl

Ok first of all , stop saying someone is lying because he had a bad experience with his device. I own a lg g4 h815 for 5 months now and the battery is absolutely horrible on Marshmallow . I can drain it in no time ( I do no gaming) , moderate usage and have to charge it like 2 or even 3 times per day. Same thing with my friends' devices. Good phone but no match for samsung s6 , even in camera. Will probably sell it. Those who say their battery improved on latest updates maybe u got another version not the h815. Last update on h815 was about 20 january . Horrible battery.
