I like much of what is expected in the LG G5, there are some items in the current reports I'm concerned about or outright dislike.
The screen and battery aren't tiny, but they're still both on the smaller side. I'll simply have to live with these, but still.
Sure, metal case may be premium, but that nearly always gets covered. I'd like to see a company sell a phone without a back cover. Offer a back cover for an extra charge, or simply let the protective back cover be the only back cover. Having the entire back cover be removable would more easily allow for larger expansion batteries.
They've got preliminary specifications for processor and graphics unit. Seems only the H850 is getting the Snapdragon 820. While the H840 is getting an older generation, but more cores. More cores can help, but often the newer generation wins.
I'm glad though that it appears all versions will feature full IrDA. Even though codes for existing remotes generally become well known, being able to simply copy a new remote can often be handier. Plus this means you get bidirectional communication with other IR devices instead of merely being able to emulate remote controls. This is assuming they follow the path of their earlier devices though. I'm also glad for *proper* dual-SIM, instead of going for style and consuming the micro-SD slot for a second SIM.
Seeing the S7 with SD having an endurance of 70h or less, this one with 2800 mAh battery will be around 60h, useless.
When will we see reviews on LG G5 look forward to as deteriorated or improved battery life
i heard some rumors that lg will launch g5 with a lesser cpu in Brazil... are u kidding us LG???
jan and jessy, 21 Mar 2016Is anyone heard about 64gb version of single or dual sim from this phone??Very much doubt there will be one as there is a Memory Card Slot, so you can expand memory up to 200gb.
wer, 21 Mar 2016what bull I just read ? :O it is easy to understand.. one battery its charging one you use it.. once you get low on the one you use it.. you just swich with the one that was charging so you never have to wait for a charging battery, you know there are acceosries to help you charging a battery . you don`t need to use ur phone for that. all you ahve to do its to spend 2 seocnds to swich the batteries.. thats no "bull"

Thank you LG for keeping the ir blaster. The only reason I will go for g5 this year will be due to ir blaster. Samsung removed it and I don't understand why. Will go for lg g5 this year.
