modular design is a real innovation.till now only project ara or some kickstarters hv only prototypes nuthing in market.lg is the only major manufacturer that is now actually selling a smartphone with some level of modular features. this thing gonna attract many people
Shape dont have the oomph factor. g series were always gorgious but g5 aint. im not tokin abt the lack of rear volume rocker.u hv to make compromises for removable btry n thats understandbl..its just the shape lacks the oomph but its not bad either.
G series always had a very high screen to body ratio but its not the case wid g5.
Even though its a removable btry but 2800 mAh is pretty low when we have 4000mAh like redmi note 3. not everyone will carry a spare battery. wud it b a galaxy wid 2800mAh n amoled it wud acceptable coz samsung is just tooooo gud with optimizing btry n obviously amoled helps.
Overall its a THUMBS UP device
Corry, 21 Feb 2016If you wish to see movies then you can use your tablet. When we speak mobile phone then 4.6 in... moreYeah...I have an LG G3 and it seems ok to small to me...the reason is that I surf the Internet, play games, listen to music, watch movies, chat and do virtually everything technology related with my mobile phone.I do have an expensive desktop PC, but the convenience of moving around and not be stationed in one place is irreplaceable for me.If you depend on a phone for all your technological needs, you need it to be something more than just a phone. Also you want it to have a big screen so you do not squeeze your eyes for about 6 hours a day.Now as far as fitting in my pocket is concerned,I found it more convenient to just buy some jeans with huge pockets. XD

I am a proud owner of lg g4. I like everything about lg g4. But what they did with g5, is horrible. No back buttons and the UI omg. Sucks big time. No dual window, No dedicated app drawer. Feels like lg is trying to become more like cheap chinese brands. They just ruined it this time.
Jep this os the next phone, that im gona buy. I owed samsung phones since the first galaxy S model.
But now its time ...key features : removable battery, glass only on the front and the sd card slot. Battery should be biger, but i have the option 0% to 100% in few seconds

Everything LG created after the golden Optimus G is garbage. Awful design+ giant screen. Now this bath soap-shaped phone with Iphone traces.
Hm? Only 5.3? I'm somewhat disappointed. The think the 5.5 size of LG G3 and G4 were "just right". I was hoping at least 5.5-5.7 inches in size. And also the battery capacity is 200mAh lower than the previous models. Expected to see 3000+ mah battery. Well, at the very least its Removable.
I wonder if the removable part and modules will still fit firmly after 100 replacements.
...hmm, maybe a hard case will help keeping the parts properly fit
Everything Perfect but Battery..... LG G5 almost perfect in each every feature but as we know everything was connect with battery life. The phone have all new and great features but not have a good battery than all value of that phones feature is going down..
LG G5 disappoint in battery life. At least 3000Mah like the previous one. but LG decrease battery. All we want is increase and they give us decrease
My next phone, the design could be better, but these days all phones are looking ugly.Removable battery + metal build - wow and a modular design, good. The battery life I think that will be better because it has a smaller display and a more battery efficient SoC.
The G5 has some great features, but it is kinda ugly. There is a black bar, and the top of the phone is all black, which makes it to look ugly. Oh, and it has a smaller battery this time, and the phone becomes bigger now. I will surely skip this phone.
My bet is that when the 1st phone manufacturer will finally reach 100% display to body ratio, LG G series will be somewhere around 20%. They seem to exponentially decrease it. G2(75.9)->G3(75.3)->G4(72.5)->G5(70.1 ...or less with module attached).
The 5.5 inch G3 is actually half a cm shorter then the 5.3 inch G5.
things are getting worse...so so bad looking phone...worst design implementation by lg...modular design will take us nowhere...
Everything was perfect except the 2800 mAH battery. I thought you could put a 4000 mAH battery there. Had it been 3500 mAH, I'd have bought it.
But, LG has really done a commendable job this time. Kudos.:)
Metal good. Removable battery good. But dual camera setup on the back. Noooo look at all sadly. :(
Everything seems fine ...Camera, accessories....but who will change the different modules now & then??? That's not good LG!
