Anonymous, 22 Feb 2016Will this get the android 6.0 update? Because the previous g flex wasnt updated at all, and im... moreYes it should... ...there's no official word on when yet but it's on LG's confirmed list of devices getting Marshmallow. But you never know, anything can happen and Flex2 hasn't sold so well. If i was you, i would wait for it to get Marshmallow before buying it if Marshmallow update is one of the key reasons for you to get the device. I bought this phone couple of months ago and it had 5.1.1 out of the box, luckily :)
Will this get the android 6.0 update? Because the previous g flex wasnt updated at all, and im hesitant on ordering this because of the updates
elmogold, 19 Feb 2016I've just had it 2days ago and there are already (slight) scratches on the back panel, though ... moreHow is the camera and battery after the last update 5.1.1 I think.. I ve been reading all these negative reviews and I kind of regret for ordering thus phone :-(
sorry for my English but i have problem with camera cant connect on my lg g flex 2. Help me
LG decided to destroy the phone, and doing it with premeditation. They do not want to unlock the bootloader although the official software is defective and poor in any options, such as camera, no options and laser autofocus does not work. Price phone today is a ridiculous low. It is better to sell this wonderful phone and buy samsung, who does not make problems to developers.
I've just had it 2days ago and there are already (slight) scratches on the back panel, though I am really careful in using it. But it is not-self-healing. I don't know why. But system, camera and everything else is doing very excellent.
Anonymous, 17 Feb 2016is this fone has svere overheating problem..........than g2? No overheating problems on Lollipop 5.1.1 :) You don't have to worry about that. Only thing i'm worried about is that will it get Marshmallow update even if it's been confirmed. This phone didn't sold very well so LG might be dropping support on this one. I hope i'm wrong... i frikkin love this phone!
Yellow spot, 13 Feb 2016Does anyone have the yellow spot problem? I have, just ignore it. it is small and unnoticeable over time.
Mike, 15 Feb 2016I would like to know whether this phone is worth buying or not? I mean specs are good but does... moreHi
For me curved screen is not a deal-breaker. It is a nice feature to have. If I have to pick between two similar phones one flat one curved, I would pick curved.
1. It has nice design. It does have wow effect, tested in public. Nobody will tell you "Is that iPhone?" if you have one. With Flex2 I heard "Is it really curved? wow, nice"
2. It IS more comfortable to hold, but difference is very small
3. It should be more durable in theory - the screen can flex, and the phone will never land on glass flat.
If you need a phone now, it is the best option on the market in this price range. If you can wait... there will be more faster, better phones in the future. Let's wait for a week and check what vendors can offer us.
I would like to know whether this phone is worth buying or not? I mean specs are good but does the odd-ball curved shape feel comfortable to use?
Does it feel weird while carrying in pocket?
The concept of curved phone does sound futuristic but I'm little sceptical about its practicality.
Does this phone is really good and its price?. Which is better the A5 (2014) or g flex 2. I like the A5 because of the premium metal design. Any advice?
Anonymous, 10 Feb 2016Hi everybody
My phone is h955 with android 5.1.1 and v15a-EUR (german) and i bought from iran... moresome users said that the 5.1.1 update has a lot of improvements compare to 5.0 (5.1 is less laggy and fixed the throttling issue). If you are experiencing lags and overheating, update your device, if not..... just wait for Android M
