Hi, Does any one know how to download the android os onto this phone? I know it is capable but I haven't found the site where I can download it and have step by step instructions on how to install
Please help any one?

Blank screen problem solution
* 1 - Go to menu builder using this code 1809#*900#
* 2 - In this menu select OTHERS.
* 3 - Once the OTHERS menu, choose now PROXIMITY.
* 4 - Put your finger on the cell near the target is in front and press Start Calibration, the value of the displayed number should then be changed after a few seconds (2-6 seconds).
* 5 - Now go back to the main screen of your GC900 and test if it works by calling yourself from another device.

I did a proximity calibration (found in phone settings) and this solved the problem. Also a live reboot where you disconnect the battery when the phone is switched on can help with any other issues. I no longer have this problem :)

Seems like the "blanking out screen" and not being able to answer incoming calls is common to this phone - I don't hav a manual so is anyone with a manual able to look this up to see if there is a cure???!!! It's frigging annoying!

i read all the comments about gc900. i cant understand y everyone is saying that this phone is very slow. i m using it and its an awesome phone. battery is superb. and u can view any movie in 720 x 480 resolution. the touch sensitivity is lot much better than any other touch phone.

Having good features/design will not help when you dont have battery to uses those feature.
