then called this an upgrade of LG viewty?

daaannnggg! the viewty was good but this improves in every way possible! the tv-out is also a nice touch and you cant beat the crystal clear divx quality playback. i wonder how much this superphone is gonna cost

This is a great effort by LG and they should be initially rewarded by good sales volume. Some ideas for improvement include: I agree that there is too much wasted space on the front, dimensions should be no larger than 85 x 54 x 12 mm (This is width and height of a credit card, and a 12mm thickness is the most you want for a pocket), no 3.5 mm audio jack is also poor design, Much more thought needs to be given to included/downloadable apps. The reason the iPhone does so well is because of the great number of apps it has (my choice would be to use their compiler so you could use all the iPhone apps on this phone).

3.5 audio is included in the headphones so i dont think there is a reason to keep complaining
no xenon is the only thing missing.... personally i always set my ringing type to vibration.. i dont care about how loud and clear it is ... thats so childish

!! how can you someone overpass all these great features and beautiful design this phone has and stick to the luck of some minor features like no xenon for the camera? mobile phones will never anyway reach the quality of digital cameras..

Very nice, but what the point of the LG arena if this one is the same with 8mp instead of 5mp ?
Unfortunately no speaker at the back of the phone, so the sound not loud and not clear
