I have a question, when in camera mode do you need to slide the phone out? If so I think that'll be a problem because I wouldnt want to be constatly having to slide open my phone just to take a picture or record a video.

1.5 GB of storage capacity is kind, but in no measure generous. 1.5 is what you expect from a 20€ mp3 player. Regarding the external memory, it is hardly a comparison point between phones. At this point all support 16GB and even 32GB (which is not the case of the Crystal, according to its specification page). Also the larger the memory card the longer the access time will be.
As for the 3rd party apps, you are right, there are the java executables. I did not mention them in my last post because I do not believe there are any gps navigators available in java (maybe one that gives you your coordinate...)
Also, allow me to clarify that I am in no way against the Crystal or LG, I am simply sharing my opinion.
Cheers, Endo.

16gb external memory is not good enough?
how much memory you want and for what i wonder.
Its not true that it cannot support third party apps.
It does support third party java apps.

The problem with the LG's S-class UI is that you cannot install any 3rd party apps, what that means is what you see is what you get. Even if you pair a gps antenna whit the phone you will not be able to use it.

Amazing design, no questions asked. But beauty is not all. No gps, only 1,5GB of internal memory, and excluding the 8Mpx shooter all of the features it has are really the basics one would expect on such a 'hi-end' phone. And only carrying a 1000 mAh battery it's a good thing it is pretty. A great phone for those who just want to look at it, and not really use it much. Well, there isn't much to do anyway.
Cheers, Endo.

Ive noticed the new lg os is not good at all. I had the lg arena and all kept on doing is freezing and shaking. Even when i updated it through lg it went worse. I think if anyone is waiting to buy this phone they should wait a while to see if lg sort this problem.

Notable about this LG unit is its transparent keypad, sophisticated and unique. Great features also.
