hi everybody

belive me i had benn with loots of phone with differnt brands and my buying rage is 10000 to 30000 INR preferbly all smart phones

now guys let metell you LG CYRSTAL is the best i ever seen in my life, CYRSTAL KEYPAD, TOUCH SENSIVTY, CAMERA EXCELLENT

I've been using this phone for a few months now.

Overall, I think it's a very good device. The S-Class UI is very user friendly and it looks pretty good (at least IMO, cant discuss taste..). But most of all the UI is intuitive.

Despite some of the comments below, I find that texting with this phone is perfect, you can either use the QWERTY touchpad, or the regular keypad, what more can you ask for?

The touch screen is really sensitive and respond very well, I rarely find myself pushing twice on a key for it to work. And again unlike some other poster here, the phone isnt "always" freezing. It actually happenned to me like twice in 3-4 months, all I had to do was reset the phone.

The phone is perfect as an MP3 player since it support dolby mobile. The 8MP camera, althought not the best around, does very well IMO, I took a lot of pics with it. (+ it's a phone in the 1st place, not a camera..) The web browser has been working properly evrytime and the wi-fi connectivity is up to the task. The phone is also good for watching videos that you upload on the phone ( good thing you can slide a micro SD up to 32gb ), I've watched many episodes of The Office on the train with that phone. I also like the organiser and the phonebook on this S-Class device. They are complete and can be very useful.

Now the cons, well 1st of all 1 of the biggest cons IMO is the fact that the touch screen isnt made of tempered glass ("scratchproof") like say the LG BL40. So if you dont take care of it or dont put protection your screen will soon be full of micro-scratch. Secondly you gotta hate the fact that there is no flash support on this device. Another thing is the battery life span is kinda under-average, althought it's not really a problem for me since I always put my phone on the charge at night.

And finally, the phone is a little bit overpriced now if you consider that you can have a Samsung Wave for around 450-500USD nowadays... But there again, e-bay is your friend, be patient and you might find one around 150-200USD. I actually got that phone because I pulled 1 out of e-bay for 160USD ^^

So overall, the LG Crystal is a very nice looking and functional multimedia phone. If you're looking for the ultimate smartphone, or tons of apps, go look elsewhere and bring a couple hundred $$$ more. But if you are looking for a one-of-a-kind, nice looking. well built multimedia phone, LG Crystal might be what you looking for!

battery life of this phone sucks...mine can be on standby mode for 2 days only and if your playing music battery will be drained after 2 1/2 hours...i only bought it 4 months ago.

Well I have this phone for a while now and here are a few bad points that i've found so far
1.Batery life is awfull.
1-2 days maximum with limited use but i guees it's because of all the crazy features(transparent keypad light,flashlite that can burn trough wals,wi-fi etc.
Batery indicator is a complete liar never trust it.
-tip:use power save mode it helps a bit
2.Firmware has lots of bugs that cause the phone to crash(ex:Galery if you work the accelorometer too much,Youtube with Wi-fi)but dont worry a new firmware will be available soon( june 2136).
-tip: Handle with care
Who needs Youtube anyway on wi-fi
3.Camera is great if it's night or sunny but never in between.

So if you want a phone that trully looks awesome take it but if you are a hardcore user go somewhere else.
And since the limited sales on this phone i'm waiting for it to breack down so that LG or vodafone will give me a much cheaper phone as compensation

mine too ~ always off the phone automatic and cannot on again .. i have to take battery out put it and on only can .

Have this phone since August 2009. Wouldn't buy it if I knew it freezes all the time.

Great looking phone with lots of features. Not for those who text a lot though. I had this phone for 6 months and gave it away because it's just too much hassle to type a message or even a phone number to dial. Writing recognition function is not practical at all. Very slow response time. Good camera. Wouldn't recommend this phone.
