But just to give you a perspective of the camera quality of GM200, I have comapared it with Nokia 6233 and found out that GM200 turned out to be the winner in the fields of white balance and resolved detailing. And I have also compared it with samsung S3500. The result being neck to neck as S3500 had more colour saturation while GM200 had better white balance so the pics appear to be more bright without adding too much noise. As it is the case with 6233, GM200 prevailed over S3500 in capturing resolved details. It is quite evident as you view it in actual size.

Thanks for the reply to question regarding comparison of samsung s3310 and lg gm200.
But I feel compared to samsung s 3310 camera is
a letdown in lg gm200. Do you agree? Please
comment does lggm 200 support zoom .

when i press the call button ( green color ) to see the last dialled no. i called, my phone stuck up only in busy mode ( in the screen it only shown the moving circle )

The LG GM200 is a quad band phone, at least in India and not a triband as is mentioned in the specifications in GSMArena. I am using this phone for the past few months and I can confirm this is a quad band phone.

Increase your budget to 8K and you can go for Nokia 5230XM. It has audio quality comparable to 5130XM.
The important point to note is that its an S60 smartphone with ARM 11 434MHz processor, 128MB RAM and a high resolution touch screen. But the downside is, there are no memory card, data cable and headset sucks.

OR
If your budget is limited to 7K.

You can go for Nokia 5130XM or GM200.
+
memory card
4GB for 5130XM(max supported 16GB)
2GB for GM200
+
Good branded earphone that costs around 1K.

They are like the official Nokia reps. So have second thoughts before calling the CC. I faced a similar prob after activating my PI. It was something I had to figure out for myself and forums like these have always helped me out.

There is no need for proxy address as aircel does not use a proxy server to connect to the internet. So make the access point the default internet connection and create a new connection leaving everything blank except for the connection name and homepage url which you can set as google. In my area aircel provides edge connectivity. The only excuse for me to not use Aircel is that I already have a broadband subscription.
