I just got this phone replaced by straight talk, I put the battery in and charged it.
It signaled that it was charged, but when I open it, it was dead. Now I can't get the
battery cover off. No amount of pressing it away from the camera has been effective. Help!

I know that some of you have said that this phone is "a toy". I believe that we can already prove which is the biggest 'toy' between this phone and an iphone .I own an i phone by the way and i still think that this Lg phone has major advantages in terms of its ease of transporting it in ones pocket and simply not being much of a stand-out when in public. On top of which, the basics of a good phone are all put into this handset and most importantly, it has a longer battery life than the majority of handsets out there including and iPhone.

Great phone, with excellent sound recording sensitivity . Keypad is easy to use, good key response while texting. Surfing internet is very fast, camera/video is just OK, can store up to 500 SMS and 100 calendar appointments). Plays videos at QCIF (and encoded on even bigger resolutions), can rotate it to play horizontaly etc. Very good value for money.

But in reality, this is not a problem, but rather a slight disadvantage. Just be sure that what ever device it is that you are trying to pair your phone to is using a " v2.1 with A2DP" bluetooth.

First of all, you do not need one for the phone to work, you only need a country code when your calling a number that is in another country from yours. I am not aware of any instances where you need a country code for a phone to work anyways. If you bought an operator supplied handset then the reason might be that you have inserted another operators Sim card in the slot rather than keeping the original one in place. In this case reverting back to the original operator Sim card will do the trick. If your phone asks you to enter a code when you switch it on and;
1) It already has a Sim card in it : then it means you have to enter the Pin Code for your card or the PUK Code if your card has been blocked after several failed attempts to type the right Pin Code.These codes should have already been supplied to you in the Sim Card package.
2) It does not have any Sim Card in it: Then it means you bought a phone that has been designed to work on only one network provider.
Both ways the solution would be to either return the phone or contact your service provider depending on which of the above issues you are facing.
