It has a problem when handling networks. There is no way to decide which connection you want to use. If 3G is available, it will use it without requesting for permission. You need to install NODATA app in order to deactivate 3G connection when not in use.
Battery life is no more than 2 days.
Despite of those problems, is a good phone.

I don't know why LG does not sell this phone in Hong Kong. LG is now making too many toy-phones.

Fantastic I especially love the dual core processor an ARM 11 applications processor running at 528MHz and a ARM 9 running at 256MHz also did u know it's able to render 4 million triangles per second and 133 million textured pixels per second!!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic piece of hardware at a good price!

Good device, needs some configuration tasks for a good performance.. Low audio quality, i'm using it since 2 months.. My opinion 7.5/10

LG Phone of Model GW550 that i bought in May 2010, i observed that the phone ear pieces is not good.I have change it for two times now. still is not working. And i bought it with the sum of forty thousand naira in May 2010.I ve not enjoy it at all.
They need to do something with it.

I have a battery life more that 2 days with push mail enabled and frequent use of internet. Call volume is low to moderate.
I have not experienced the heat up issue.
Camera is useless. I never use it.

For this price you are having a 3G phone with GPS. Camera is bad, but I have no issues because I never use mobile for photography.

I bought it recently. No probs till now. BSNL is not giving 3G settings for this mobile. too bad, i bought this to experience 3G only. As the 3G/HSDPA signal is always on, even the good quality battery is lasting for a day/24 hrs only. All other aspect are great. A decent economy smartphone. enjoy it.

Many are writing wrong things such as the phone is not good. It is not true. It is a nice phone for this price. It is working nicely. Only buttons are bit hard and browsing a bit difficult. All programs and net connectivity are good. Try to get pocket player, kinoma player etc. I think the phone is worth for its price. Remember it is a 3G phone with 7.2 Mbps connectivity.
