I'm using android 1.6 on my eve. I tried to update it to 2.2 using lg support tool . but it says that this is the latest version for eve & u shouldn't update it. So how can I update my device to 2.2 as u say??
please tell me how to do it!!!

Bring it to the retailer service to check it on Battery Hold Test to see how much power in % can hold. They must replace it for you if its not 90-100% hold power after full charge.

With that you can easily disable all things you do not require always: So Disable GPS, Put automatic Brightness, Put use Only 2G networks, Disable Wifi, Disable AutoSync, etc.

use also Advanced Task manager and kille tasks you do not require.

MY LG GW620 BATTERY lasts 3-4 DAYS like this!

Also, use Dr. battery - also free soft on Android Market to periodically make full-charge-discharge cycles for Battery Calibration and Formatation!

if you have still problems, go and ask you retailer to service-check your batter on a simple Battery Checker after Full Charge-discharge. It will show if you battery is defective and maybe even after Full Charge it cannot hold more than 50-60% of power. Its normal, can happen to any new phone. And must replace it for you.

But, if your GW620 is second hand and yoru battery is not new, maybe the guy who soled it to you used to charge it very badly, like not leaving it sometimes to reach 100% because he needed the phone. This killa battery overtime at any manufacturer.

Not lastly, if an 600 USD Iphone 4 lasts battery only 20 hours , and a 150 USD LG Gw620 lasts 12 hours its MORE THAN SUPER ANYWAY! Practically Lg gW620 should cost around 400 USD for how much its battery lasts for 12 hours :))

Oh my. it's new battery somemore. and it's 1500mAH. oh god. is it normal again? i didn't really even use it. i check from the battery status, most of 'em are used in standby.

By the way, my battery can only last for the most 1 day!! Is that normal? oh my..... And that's a brand new original battery.

If you do not like this phone, go and give 500 USD on a Samsung or Iphone and stop whining!

This is a great phone, Lots of FUN for very little money, Made 100% in South Korea!

Gw620 rules! PRICE-QUALITY RATIOS = 100% !

For this price you cannot get better Android Phone. Has very good hardware, both touch screen and physical keyboard, LED Flash, 5MP good camera, etc

Are you sure its original LG case(face) on it? I have mine since 2010 and its not showing any signs. It looks like new. I just put a 3M Vikuity foil on the LCD screen for protection. But buttons and face all look super, no paint is wearing off!

i just brought this phone a few days ago. i feel that the paint very easy to wear off, especially the directional key and the lock/power off key. do any of you face this problem??

this is not a gamer phone. even i overclocked it to 710.4mhz, it lags in many games. i prefer Optimus Black or "2X" to the gamers. btw, GW620 has better quality hardware then most of the Android phones. (i think gorilla glass screen and AMD accelerator missing only)

i can't connect the phone into my laptop , i had installed all drivers i had found but no results
when i plugged the USB into slot a driver appears but in case of opening a message appears " insert disk "
Please help me

Note : " i had already choose the storage option from settings ,so it isn't the fault "
