You boght it second hand? You go and check it at LG service. GW620 always has best signal. Maybe yours is replica?

Hi Guys,

Have you experienced signal problems with this phone. I just got my unit and I often lose network signal. I don't know what's wromg. I never had such problem with my previous handset. Any idea? Thanks!

I'm updating my GW620 follow by openetna but it shows me that waiting for device. Why? Even i already plug the phone to pc but seem it doesn't can't install new recognize and install new firmware. Any one in here should you tell me pl? I would be appreciated. Pl pl pl help me...............

just visit openetna.com and search in its forum and u will find the solution for ur problem
(i am egyptian)

and u can update to 2.3 "unofficial update" but u will be not able to write arabic with hard keyboard

Dear GSM ARENA !I wonder so much cos i already update firmware for my LG GW620 from update tool of LG site. After i download and install this newest firmware android 2.1 for my phone till success by confirming of tool, and my phone already restart the machine automatically but when i check the phone it remain old version is 1.5. Why does it appear same thing? What should i do for my device ? Please give me recommend for fixing it again. I'm looking foraward to hear from you as soon as if possible. I would like to thank you very much f you can help me to solve this problem.

u can easly update it to 2.2 official update

2 ways
1 for general phone language
setting>local and setting>select local
2 if u want to shift language while u r writing>while u r in writing area click both 2 buttons(blue arrow+maginfier)

arabic is still supported after updating with letters connected correctly , the only bad news is that hard keyboard is noe azerty instead of qwerty , i cant write arabic by the hard keyboard but i use ibrahim keyboard from market and it's perfect.
