> In reply to ideer @ 2009-08-29 00:09 from k7MIthe biggest one u can put on the incite is 300k. u can use bigger ring tones but u gotta edit the registry. you can get a free editor called ceregistryeditor. its easy and anyone can do it. just chack out lg-incite.com and there are detailed info on how to do this.

If you guys have this phone I recommend lg-incite.com and download the windows mobile 6.5 ROM from DarkWolf. I recommend version 23047 Final 5.1.
It solves all the problems that people complain about here. Totally stops freezing, much more responsive than WinMo 6.1.
Really, this phone has some of the best rom cooks, and it is really amazing. Give it a chance with 6.5

Horrible Phone. Freezes 100 times a day, Loses battery power even when fully charged for a few minutes, and the keyboards are unresponsive and inaccurate. ATT exchanged it once, only to get a new device with the same problem. No more touch screens for me.

Try enabling gesture and move it to 2 bars from zero. Check all exclusive programs. Soft reset and then ur phone will respond quick.

Got this phone last week. The screen takes more umph to use than say an iPhone, but with the registry tweaks and setup properly, it is now almost as responsive, (check out http://www.lg-incite.com). Also, be sure to install .net v3.5 from the microsoft site. It only comes with .net v2. Runnnig off of 3.5 GREATLY speeds it up.

Got mine for free at best buy on upgrade. Phone is decent. The mic sometimes doesnt work and sometime it freezes or wont launch programs even with plenty of program memory. I installed SPB mobile shell 3.0 on mine and love the soft reset option it gives for the phone. I agree the phone is buggy, which hopefully gets fixed with an update, but I have no grounds to complain, like I said it was free. I can deal with the minor buggy inconveniences.

> In reply to Clinton @ 2009-07-23 01:35 from jst2Clinton, this phone absolutely, positively SUCKS! Seriously, I've used on at AT&T stores and the screen is the most not-responsive thing ever. The phone is slow and laggy and buggy and overall was a horrible experience in the 5 minutes I spent with it. Personally I would say Iphone, or maybe some other Windows Mobile phone, but this one was a pain. At least try one out before you buy. good luck

This phone does not need a data plan. It has wifi. To use wifi, you have to disable the proxy (takes 30 secs...google it).

> In reply to grace lupango @ 2009-03-20 03:52 from TfX2Looks like you had one of the LG's which needed to be updated. What you have to do is download .Net Framework v 3.5 (2.0 is preloaded on the phone, I think) from the Microsoft website and then install it on the phone. Most phones problems are solved this way.
