I got this phone last week from Tigerdirect for $199 SH included.
I was reluctant to buy this phone because of the negative reviews. I am satisfied with the phone.
i use this phone using my sim card from a go phone(prepaid). So far here are my comments:
1. Wifi works great - I can connect to the internet via the wifi - youtube works perfectly also my yahoo mail is configured as my pri mail. I have not tried to transfer files to and from my laptop or deskto via wifi
2. Did not come with USB cable - USB port is not standard. i ordered the cable + driver + case + charger + car adapto at amazon for $5..still waiting for parts to arrive
3. ordinary 3.5 mm stereo jack headphones work for listening to music
4. Divx movies does not work, WMV is kinda slow ..audio is not synched . i have to test all formats
5. Tride to link to my PC to install apps via the bluetooth - not reliable. The connection breaks. Hopefully the USB will work. I need this to install apps
6. Touch screen is not a problem although the font is too small. Tilt switch reaction is sluggish
7. People copmplain that the phone freezez. this only happens when apps are kept running in the back ground. You just need to activate task manager and close unnecessary apps. If you run a program and did not hit "done" , hitting "x" on the upper right corner will not terminate application.
8. there are "leftover" apps from AT&T that already expired which are annoying. I need to get rid of them as soon as I get the USB cable. I think you cannot uninstall then from the phone, you need the activesync connection to you desltop.

This phone seems really good and I would like to have one for Christmas. I was told that it connects to wire-less networks very fasr. That's a plus for me.

> In reply to ideer @ 2009-08-29 00:09 from k7MI - click to readthe biggest one u can put on the incite is 300k. u can use bigger ring tones but u gotta edit the registry. you can get a free editor called ceregistryeditor. its easy and anyone can do it. just chack out lg-incite.com and there are detailed info on how to do this.

If you guys have this phone I recommend lg-incite.com and download the windows mobile 6.5 ROM from DarkWolf. I recommend version 23047 Final 5.1.
It solves all the problems that people complain about here. Totally stops freezing, much more responsive than WinMo 6.1.
Really, this phone has some of the best rom cooks, and it is really amazing. Give it a chance with 6.5

Horrible Phone. Freezes 100 times a day, Loses battery power even when fully charged for a few minutes, and the keyboards are unresponsive and inaccurate. ATT exchanged it once, only to get a new device with the same problem. No more touch screens for me.

Try enabling gesture and move it to 2 bars from zero. Check all exclusive programs. Soft reset and then ur phone will respond quick.

oh my gosh. terrible phone.
let me start, i treat this phone like a baby. never dropped it or anything. now heres my issues:
1. it freezes at least 6 times a day.
2. it loses my contacts at least twice a day
3. it freezes when i get 2 text messages within 5 secs of eachother
4. the texting is near impossible.
5. the battery sucks
6. this morning the camera stopped working
7. it starts out with very very low storage space
8. all of the ringtones on the at&t website dont even freaking work on it!
