I have faced two problems with this set. One is no call waiting indication when i call to b party which activate call waiting. Two no cell info option. It it very painful for me. Is it software problem?

How to do a hard reset with this phone?? Coz my phone keep restarting all the time after I install some java apps :( when switch on the display only shows KC550 logo (blue circle) and then goes black and the logo shows again then black again on and on and on....never goes to standby mode. I go to LG service station and they can't do anything about it.

I had bought this phone recently.
Firstly- my phone has all of a sudden not being able to read my memory card and my phonebook. plz. help??

Hi
I am unable to add Calendar Event to my phone. Everytime I try, it shows 'invalid time'. Please help me.

Has anyone had any success using the Blutooth modem in this phone?...I have an old Ipaq PDA which I can use on my old Sony Ericsson KC 550 using its built in bluetooth modem to access the internet. But I cannot connect using the LG KC550...

Virgin Mobile have tried to help me with no success...anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

to be honest, this phone is not that good. not quite responsive, takes long time to shoot a photo. the msg inbox's capacity is annoyingly small...

I wish I had never bought this phone. I'd suggest that everybody else avoid it like plague!

The phone recently has started to turn itself on and off at random. Although, more often than not, this tends to be when I have to make important phone calls.

It has stopped showing my sms message top line priviews in the inbox menu. If I want to find a specific text message, I now have to try and remember when it arrived or risk having to search through them all!

Yet, these issues can almost be forgiven when compared to the truly awful speaker it has. It distorts everything, causing me to have to ask whoever I am speaking to to repeat themselves constantly. It completely renders it's advertised mp3 player status as laughable, if not fraudulent. Listen to anything above a tiny volume, even through headphones, and the result is a fuzzed up unlistenable mush.

I really wanted this phone but I really wish I had never got it. It does nothing right, takes ages to do anything and there are constant problems with connectivity. I confirm what a previous poster said about it just deciding to take pictures or make calls on its own. Compared to a standard Nokia it is almost disfunctional, I always receive messages late and the main connection port stopped working after only 6 months, after a year there was no connection at all and beware, LG offer no help whatsoever.

Dont get an lg phone!

Recently, my LG KC550 has not been itself. I dies within a day when it used to last 3. It takes pictures by itself without me pressing the buttons. It doesn't react immediately when I want it to. Sometimes I have to press a button twice or three times in order for the phone to finally realize that I want it to do something.

Man! this phone Rocks!
i think it's the only cell phone that has 6 or 7 fonts that can be changed.u can also increase the size of fonts! camera is awesome.Screen resolution is magnificent.much better than crap N73.
the only problem is installing Java.
it will take about 5 to 10 minutes 2 install sth on it.
but anyways. this phone is cool.The real shape of the phone is much more beautiful than what u see in the photos.
For the first time i would say: Thanks LG!

I think im taking KC550 for granted. I've had this phone for a year and a half now. It's pretty good in battery life when I charge it over night and use it the next day to listen to music while studying for 6 hours. The battery bar will still appear to be 3 bars.
I like how I can transfer anything basically onto this phone by the micro SD card.
It's a pretty good phone in my opinion, the only thing I dislike about it is that.. it's going to get bad reception in basements and underground tunnels due to its triband network.
