Haven't had any age related problems with it at all, it still works a charm. The only thing to watch out for is that if you drop it it resets the memory card, meaning the card needs to be formatted to work again. Dont know why this happens, but it does :/
Also, I still have to bug where I cant record more than 15 seconds off the highest quality film without it starting to judder. Anyone else's orsay do this? Or does anyone have links for a firmware upgrade?

There is also $100 excess which is deducted from the amount. If anybody found my phone can they please send it to me at 19 Kittyhawk View, Maylands. WA 6051. I would be so grateful and it would be a miracle! You can send it COD (Cash on delivery) or I will send back the cost of postage and a small reward too. the KC 550 it's a very nice phone and here it goes what i think of it: the camera is the main purpose of this device and for the price 5 MPX are great, obviously it is a cell phone camera and that is what you get. you can achieve nice pictures if you have patience and understand well enough the conditions and the functionality, you need to stand really straight for getting sharp images, also you need to realize the way autofocus works, and of course you will do it better under the sun light. the MP3 it works average, because it doesn't has dedicated keys and the sound quality it's a little worst than any sony walkman you can get, maybe due to the cheap and crappy default headset... the design it's not exactly awesome but it resembles of that. the screen it's perfect, the buttons are cool and if you look it from behind, it looks exactly like a classic pocket camera, really nice. again, for the price it is a great mobile, i got it by 160 US DLRS new. i am happy with it, just need to get the good LG headset for the KC550 that is available as an extra accessory

anyone use this phone for almost 1 year? is there any problem?? cause i use my w800i for 3 and half years and it still can work ^^ any comment bout kc550?

THis phone sucks, keylock opens it self in pocket and calls my friends and no support from LG to get the pc suite connecting and working or getting the firmware update working,

also the mp3 playlist handeling is horrible, you get all files in one long list without folders, no browsing,

its a sad pice of phone, wish I had returned it directly aftert I baugth it.
