I have this mobile and a lg gw520. I had the gw520 at first but I lost it, so started to use Renoir. I lost the gw520 back in April and found it out in the garden today, works perfectly, the same as it did before... I've went back to the gw520 because it's a much better looking phone... I don't care about camera and it has the qwerty keyboard... Also the user interface is much better on the gw520... It's a much runner mobile to play with and looks better too, with good features (just not as good as the Renoir, though). I gave the Renoir to my brother.

It is the king of the camera phones. I have it for 8 months now. I have pushed it to the maximum several times. Going on wifi and texting at the same time, opening multiple pages, talking. In offline mode battery lasted couple of days taking pictures and videos. Wifi works great, remembering wifi pass wherever I was before (I was on vacation.) Sounds great, no bugs. I flashed it a month ago and it works fine. Now it is a little bit slower but who gives a damn. I used K800 and N82 before, this one is marvelous.

Can this phone record conversations? (It's supposed to multitask well so I figgered it could run telephony and voice recorder at same time.)

Got this phone for my girlfriend. No problems whatsoever. In terms of quality to price, not much beats it. I work in a Vodafone store so I see lots of phones come and go. Here in Australia they just dropped to $199 .... Can't go wrong there. Menu lacks colour, but everythign works quick and without hassles. Good phone overall

i have bought this from from UK and want to activate for tigo or claro in Central America Honduras but when i put any of those sim cards it says no network, when i try go pick manually a band it says no PLMN number what can i do to solve this problem?

i have this phone for a year.
I got it very expensive. It does not worth it's money.
The plasticks are cheap.
The touchscreen is laggy.
You have to press twice some times
Some other times it does not respond or you accidentally activate something while scrolling
The firmware is very laggy.
Nothing downloadable.
You can only install java games but you can't play them because the handling is very dificult & laggy.
Wifi & browser are very slow & laggy. youtube player quality is bad.
YOU CAN'T ACCESS GOOGLE MAPS THROUGH WI-FI!!!!!!!!! AN-BELEVABLE!!!!
IT CAN ONLY WORK THROUG 3G ( MONEY CHARGING)
You can't use .gif files for wallpaper. No screen saver.
The phonecall quality is really bad. All people say to me that i sound distand & funny...
You cant' hear clearly the caller.
The text messaging is laggy. It's really dificult when you wan't to change language durin texting...
No better support from lg. The latest firmware they released was about a 1,5 year ago...
The battery last for about 1,5 days...
The only good thing in this phone is the 8 mgpixel camera and the vga 30fps sec. reconder.
but when videorecording there are some gaps recording...
After all this i am thinking of keeping it just as a digital camera and use my old phone ass a Cell phone!!!!
( because i gave a lot of money and ican't buy a similar phone so soon )
Very dissapointed... :(
I think i waste my money and i feel like sucker... :(

Lg renoir vs samsung monte? what should i choose? monte have low price, but renoir have good camera resolution and camera flash.
