Solution: restarting the phone (given by Natalie)

The solution given by Natalie for Prada worked for Ke770. Sorry, I didnt see it. Meanwhile I understand that these new phones are similar with a PC rather than my old phone :)

Problem: cant see the caller ID

Setting the default memory as phone (from the menu 3.7.1) didnt solve the problem.

Only if the person is recorded on the SIM card, it shows the caller ID. So, Why is there a phone memory? My old phone can use both of them.

I aquired this phone from a friend who went overseas. At first, I was throughly satisfied with it; it is quite small and looks amazing. However, after a few days of everyday use, I began to notice numerous flaws. Firstly, the call reception is mediocre. I noticed that many people I called complained that they couldn't hear me though my phone showed full bars of reception. Secondly, the speaker sound was very bad. Any song that I played past the midway volume point blared annoyingly and I stopped using the music on it because of the dismal quality. Finally, the buttons on the phone are placed quite awkwardly. For example, the end call button is very hard to push when using the supplied headset. If one is talking to someone on the headset or using some other function on the phone, it's hard to push the end button to stop the phone.

I would give this phone an average of 6/10...if it didn't look as good as it does that would probably drop to a 4.

i am this phone thursday!!!
well if you're complainning bout the fuction dun get this phone.
this phone is meant to shine.
texting and calling will be ok.
buying this phone cuz i already have a digital cam and mp3 player.
so quit complaining.

those of you thinking of buying this mobile go for it. Its a really nice phone value for money the sound is not that great compared to nokia. screen is better than many of the mobiles available in this price range.

Buy prada or wait for KS20 or go for 5700 or any other nokia model, that's my suggest

The phone is great, the design is this summer/fall's best candy bar...
1) the buttons are a bit stiff, but it's something you learn to get used to
2) the autofocus is a little slow, so when the image is actually taken, you really can't move, (it's a camera phone, and it has autofocus, don't expect it to be on par with today's digicameras)

problem's i can't seem to figure out
info: i am in the US, and i use T-mobile
i am having trouble sending picture messages, where it says "There are no mms settings" - i'm not sure what to do

can anyone shed some light on a possible solution?

I bought my ke770 3 days ago and get rid of it yesterday...
It's true it has a beautiful design but all its features are uselesss..
no zoom
mp3 voice has a real bad quality

That's y i return it back to the supplier and got the SONY ERICSSON w810i and i'm finally satisfied

hey everyone,
got my LG prada today, i found that if you save all your contacts to your phone memory, delete the sim contacts and then restart the phone, it starts working with the names! if you dont restart it, it gives you the name problem where sometimes they don't come up! i hope it works, working so far for me..:) x

i bought my new LG KE770 yesterday.. my camera is not zooming in or out

I have saved all my contacts to my phone and deleted them from the SIM and still have the same problem with caller ID not showing.

It's intermitent- sometimes a particular person's name shows up and other times that same person calls or texts and their name won't show up.

Why is it doing this??

Pls pls pls help me solving the problem with this phone...
(1)I cant zoom in picture mode over 640*480.
(2)No zoom in video recording any size.
(3)Pictues are yelloish and blurt.
(4)MP3 player dont save equlizer settings.
I ve to select settngs again and again for each song.
Pls help me to solve them.
Is this software problem

Is it true that this phone doesnt work in many places (it says emergency only) if you are with cingular/at&t due to this phone running off of a gsm900 bandwith rather than gsm 800? Anyone out there at&t that can give me some insight?

Anyone who is having trouble in message and calls that phone doesnot display the name of caller and sender please do following...

Save your contacts in phone memory, select phone contacts as default contacts and delete all your sim contacts.It will not trouble you at all.

This problem is due to same number added twice once in phone and then in sim so different names and same number cause this problem.

Different names in sense phone can save upto 30 characters while in sim we can save on 14 or 15 characters.

Hello dear readers i just got this phone on thursday really a great phone but like always LG didnt add good features of their old phones...

No auto focus in camera although 2MP yet not a great satisfing result as compared to sony ericsson k750.

No zoom available for picutres over resolution 640 * 480.This is really bad althoug it was there in previous versions.

No zoom in video recording and also mpeg-4 video recording not supported although it was there in kg 200 and kg 300.

Again cant save equalizer for mp3 player it changes to general mode after the one song ends so we have to set it again and again.

Light provided at back of cell not enough as it makes almost no difference.
