i just got this phone and it doesn't have a micro sd slot, can anyone plz tell me where it is, or if it doesn't have one plz tell me soon

I love the Lg 970 this phone is slick and stylish in one I have one and it os the talk of the town it enhance my profile as a unique individual please make more of them as I will be looking forward to new and improved look

I have got myself an LG Shine yesterday. I have managed to make it sync with the computer, everything is fine. The phone is ok and i guess i will stick to it for some time as my secondary fone, my first fone will be a smartphone. Anyways, my questions is:
Did anyone managed to put extra animated wallpapers on the fone? I have some swf's but the phone will not read them if i put them in the images and the animated wallpaper directory does not appear when i use mass storage. So can we put other animated wallpapers? Or we are limited to the default ones?

yes, you will need and adapter...ez to get, my dealer has a bunch of them, everytime i buy a phone off him.. he gives me a few...
and yes..usb does charge the phone...

2zac: I'm living in Canada and in BC
I'm also using Rogers. Do I need Adaptor or convertor for this phone??
I have bought KE970 online but didn't get it yet.
AND Can I charge the phone if I connect it to the PC or Laptop??

hey. I got shine mobile today.. it is so cute. i like it.
for synchronisation, i found 2 things..
- data sync for sounds, video, images, you have to use USB mode (Mass storage) in USB connection menu
- for PIM, agenda, phonebook sync, you have to use LG PCSync SW and to set mobile in "Data service" in USB connection menu

2shell: yes i can do that... but i cannot use software i got with my mobile to edit,phone book and notes,and so.... software i got with my lg do not work :D ... when i try to sync ... it asking me for communication port,but nothing is listed,and i cannot select no port ...

hi, i just bought this phone using it in canada...for some reason...the R symbol for roaming is on, and i can't seem to get it off, even though i had selected rogers as my network...can someone please help me?

I mus tbe one of the lucky ones, for me the scroll wheel does not lag. one scroll of the wheel and it goes down one spot for me, it will never delay or anything so i must have a good scroll wheel. and there is two clocks so when you are in menu you can still see what time it is. Enjoying the phone but i have been looking everywhere for 240x320 animated wallpapers but cannot find any because this phone supports animated wallpaper

Does anyone know if this phone will ever have a firmware update soon? I hate not being able to choose an mp3 file as an alarm clock tone.
Oh, by the way, I sent my first phone as it sometimes needed battery replacement to switch on. I thought it defetive or something, I got the second phone, and it does the same thing. I think all these phones have the same problem.

Hey, i'm confused slightly Zac, what you're having problems with, you plug the phone into the usb cable other to the comp. and then it comes up as another drive, kind of like a USB flash drive then you just drag the files you want onto there, or are you on about when you actually synchronie it? because I heard that to synchronize it you need bluetooth for that, the bit where you can exchange data such as contact details and calendar etc, do you have bluetooth on your comp?

hello... i bought shine.. it is nice looking mobile,but i have problem with connection to my pc... when i plug in cable,computer recognize it,but syncronizer not work... when i need to choose(set communication port) i do not have nothing to choose, window is empty and there is nothing to choose? pls help?

Hey, I've found it hasn't got scratched at all Graceit doesn't even collect dust as much as my laptop does lol. Anyone else noticed how it charges your phone when you connect it to your pc, which is annoyin if u want to run the battery down then charge it. As an orange customer I would recommend to get it from Orange, but there are plenty of stores that do it as well

i would like to buy this phone but i don't know anything about LG, i'm a big fan of samsung and just move to motorola becuzz of the rokr E6, is this gonna be any better or is it just another phone, someone plzz tell me hehe danks peep
