Now thats a funny thing to say given that both phones specs and features are almost identical. The only difference being the Samsung D840 has TV out. So it comes down to taste. Would you rather be seen with the LG Shine or the D480 which looks like it was designed by Dr. Frankenstein.

looked at the handset in CarPhoneWarehouse the yesterday. they its not that good and the sam d840 is 100 times better. good feature on the LG Shine is just the mirror effect screen, which when you put fingures on the screen all you see is your fingure print so you`ll be constantly wiping it clear.

Ok had this phone for four days now. The battery life is not as bad as they make out. This phone does suffer from the usual LG problem of the battery indicater not being able to make up it's mind. One moment it says it's full and the next it's at halfway and then it's back again.
For some strange reason it has two clocks on the standby screen.
As to the stupid finger prints on the screen comment. Stop touching the damn screen then.

i would just like to clarify one main thing about the lg shine i am a sales consultant i think you phone is one of the best desighned phones this year really appealing to the eye great weight and functions but when you desighned this phone did no one look at the battery life on the phone maybe this is something that lg need to look at because there will be peolple well un happy

I think the mirror on the display is a big problem I tested it and there were always fingerprints on the screen and if you want to open it you're coming directli to the menu because you dont have a button to open it

this is very good fone with all the great features which anyone would expect in ones mobile phone...the unique outer structure and all modern features that makes it more attractive......anyways very good fone.....

Hi all
Well i must say well done to LG! for the design of the handset and the phone spec. Its not a bad phone overall but i wouldnt have it. Its good for all those budiness people who like their gadgets! Overall score 8/10. LG are lucky to get a score like that!

Got this out of the cage at work (P4U) and i have to ay im more than impressed, the scroll may go wrong in time, but who knows!
Well done LG, a handest in which we all can enjoy!

The D900 is no longer the worlds thinniest slide phone. Samsung has a new one coming out. This may not be as slim as the D900 but then it's not as wide neither and fits in the hand better. This phone has Flash support and comes with several animated wallpapers.
