My Step-Mum gave me this phone second hand, and she had bought it in NZ, but then used it in Australia. I got the phone back here, turned it on & put in my PIN code. It is now asking me to enter Security Code. Does anyone know what it is? Thannks

> In reply to Mitchell @ 2009-07-11 10:37 from vmxSyep, you can get it from vodafone. i got one. although when buying it from vodafone, the phone doesnt come with all the msn etc applications. dont know why? or buy it off trademe, they're cheaper there. :)

@ Sidney
In security, go change codes, the preset code is 0000. Set a code then go back to security and into handset lock. Check immediate option. Now when the phone is opened it will say its locked.

Its a great phone and the battery is very good.Am at pains trying to find how to lock the handset or application on the phone. The options provided in "security" are not effective. Any suggestions on how to go about doing this?

this phone looks total pants if i'm being honest, it looks really cheap & plastic &.. eugh! I'm buying a new phone as my old one has just broke. Definatly would NOT reccomend a LG unless it is the LG viewty which is awesome.. Especially this one. I guess you can't judge a book by it's cover but first impressions are everything! :)

Just bought this phone for my dad. It is $218 in New Zealand. I really like it :D. it is def worth it. Good sliding mechanism. Keypad is not so bad. and the plastic back cover is not as bad as ppl have been complaining about. :D. I would recommend the phone for some one on low budget.
