elegant design but would be better with quad-band, wi-fi, and 800/1900 3G bands

Can you use the qwerty keyboard to enter text into a memo?

Also, I'm debating between the viewty - which one is the better phone?

> In reply to RainRover @ 2008-06-18 18:16 from p$YtLittle correction - you can use virtual keyboard in "search in contact" mode - all you need is to touch text area and voila! virtual keyboard is here.

> In reply to edmond @ 2008-06-15 08:32 from TRT3edmont, actually you can use virtual keyboard only in three cases:

1) to make a call (only numbers)
2) to fill textbox field in internet browser (full qwerty keyboard)
3) in java applications on bottom side appears virtual D-pad (i.e. arrows, left menu key, right menu key, etc)

No SMS writing, no enter new contact, no search in contacts - in these cases you just must open slider :(

May I know if there's on screen vitual keyboard ? That I do not want to use pen/stylus of hand writing for input. Just using thumb. Of course, close the slider when typing Thanks

I have this phone now, my brother has a LG Viewty. LG Viewty has a better design but if you donīt like touchscreen like me, this is the option.
The IPhone has more features like a computer but, if you need a real mobile phone, this is much better.
