Got my Secret today. Nice build quality. The touchscreen isn't great though, can't drag webpages or photos about (or google maps), you have to use the touchkeys instead. Screen is kinda small for viewing standard web pages. Slide answers and ends calls fine though. DL speeds don't seem great in 3G areas though more testing needed. Volume and setting options seem fine. Camera ok so far, video is good for a phone. Flash can't be used as a torch (I think), but is very bright in the instant it is on. Fingermarks are a problem, but that's the same with most phones now

i tried this in a shop and didn't think much of it, response to navigation presses was slow and not very intuitive.

you have to make sure that you assign the ringtone and pic to the contact on the phone and not on the sim card.
make sure you save changes before exiting. hope this helps

I dont know if i am doing anything wrong but i just had my secret and i do like it but ecverytime i try and assign a photo to caller id or ringtone when i go back into it what i have done is not there in there contact details and advice where i going wrong with this??

Wanted to buy Nokia 6220C, but now maybe should i buy this one ? What i like with Nokia is on line software update, and all the applications available. But Secret looks so much better...Which one has better video, because they are both VGA 30fps (video of 6220C is the same as N82)?

re: divx playback as per specs it says it can handle 640x480 resolution. what happens when you play something beyond that? Does it play slowly or does it refuse to play at all?

as for the touch screen i think its a bit of a gimmick really but it does what it says on the tin.
has anyone else got a slight bit of play in the slide mechanism..i.e. when full open you can feel that its a tiny winy bit loose.
not saying there is anything wrong with it just curious...i had the same problem with my old n95
also while im moaning i wish lg would set up a decent website along the lines of nokia and listen to the people who have bought there phones and allow firmware updates
turn off 3g and battery lasts 3 days by the way

Had the Secret for less than a week after my e900 died. Didnt like the look of the Soul so waited for this to be released.
Great build quality, feels like it will last. Fits in my front jeans pocket. Decent camera for quick snaps. Easy to operate. Makes and receives calls. Not much else i need really. Very happy ... so far ... has been less than week to be fair.
Darts game is a little addictive .. 140 so far lol

Had 3 U900 in total each having the same problem of poor caller volume and ring tone even when set at maximum, no such problem with the LG secret. Overall ecxellent phone
