It's a good phone. SMSing is poor- on PC you cannot write a longer message which could be sent as multiple SMSs. Why LG have not provided for this? Perhaps they can do now.
2.Why should it require unlocking after every call beats me.
3. Why they have not installed a branded camera like in Viewty? The camera supplied is not bad but this does not give you that confidence!

Can you use this phone (ie the front 4 way touch controls) whilst the keypad is closed? IE Can I play music and use the camera without opening the keypad?

I have used more than 150 phones, I liked it very much b'coz its a very strong multimedia phone, only thing while making call neon lights are active and functions also active causing multi action.

I guess I solved my problem, I just changed the place I plug in the usb cable to another usb port of my computer (for example the one I use for the mouse or the keyboard) they seem to be more stable ^^
By the way, is bluetooth adapter expensive?

hi can any1 tel me if this phone wil play longer sounds wen a txt mgs comes in, have heard that u have to shorten them...? i'm lookin at buyin this phone n this is a feature i wood like to have

Regarding the phone speaker.It only has one. Which is used both for MP3 and voice calls.

Got this phone for about a week so far.
Am using it through Tmobile service in the U.S,signal strength is good(normal in my case). Extremely stylish,light and slim. Attracts alot of attention when you whip it out in public.
Have no problem with the neon touch keys,none of them have burned out(so far.)
If I had to point out flaws,I suppose it would be transfering files via USB cable as it disconnects quite often which is frustrating.
Overall,I really love/enjoy this sleek new phone and would definitely recommend it to anyone :)

Hi Edith I have the exactly same problem. I've had the LG secret for 6 days now and I've gave up on using the USB connections. I use it in mass storage mode like everyone says so but it still drops the connection like yours.
I just ended up buying a USB bluetooth adapter for my pc and use it to transfer files between my phone and pc. it works perfectly fine with a stable connection but the only issue is its a bit slow.

fone is having two speakers 1 for voice call nd another for mp3 etc. gives good results as both the sounds are having different settings. Anybody can tell me about this fone regarding speakers...

hi all. yes the neon lights do burn out afetr a while. ive had 2 and am on my third one. i like the fone though. for better internet browsing go to wap.getar.com on ur fone and download opera mini. it turns ur fone into a complete browser like a pc's one. everything on the site is free & u will get loads of free games and software on there too. Does anyone know why u can recieve animations in ur text messages, but not send them?? I also like the way you can change the colour of ur time and date on it 2 match ur wallpaper. www.zedge.net is free and there is tousands of wallpapers and screen savers on there too for the secret. hope this info helps.
