Hello, I would like to know how nice the interface is on this phone. The standerd one (black background-simple white icons) is boring and unexciting and I would like to know if there are any options to have colourfull and animated icons for the menu.
Thanks to any replys.

yes you can fully customise as i reported earlier.
wallpapers, own pictures etc
each contact can have there own ringtone although you need to have contact on phone rather than on sim
message tones can be changed to whatever you want.
as fully customisable as a nokia n95 etc

Can anyone who has this phone please let me know about customisation. Can you have your own picture on the front screen and does it fill the whole screen? Also can you have your own message tones?
At the moment I can't decide between this and the Samsung Soul. I've always had Samsung or Nokia. Never LG as I've heard bad things about LG. What are the menus like to use? Does it have the usual calendar and alarms that other makes do?
Also does it have picture caller id? When the person rings does their picture come up on screen? Thanks

> In reply to Luka @ 2008-05-29 01:27 from 4ZpX - click to readyes my nokia n95 8gb was great but i found after a time that i didnt use all the features on it such as wifi and gps although i did manage to get a version of tt6 which worked with the internal gps.
web browsing on the secret is as easy as browsing on the n95. i have a data package and i played around on you tube on the secret and it was all perfectly ok. great screen rotation and it seemed to me to be pretty fast.
have personalised my secret just as i did with n95 8gb and have now put in a 4gb card which is plenty for me.
been stopped by two people who asked about phone. didnt get that with the rather bulky looking n95 8gb.
i dont know why people are saying the interface is slow. on first starting the phone takes about 30 secs once booted up to respond but after that the menus smoothly change and the neon pad is fool proof in my eyes. there really isnt anything to get used to. even my wife uses it ok and shes a bit on the slow side.
go buy one you wont regret it.
as for the person who bought it sim free from 02 for 220...i have to rub my chin in disbelief at that one...i contacted o2 and they said no no no.

well, i went to the o2 shop yesterday, tested Secret and Viewty. I have trouble using the touch sensitive pad on Secret, I know it will take time to get used to. It is very solid, very heavy and very thin. I like Viewty as it is very responsive and all touch screen. So, I got the Viewty after much difficulties deciding. Hope I made the right choice...:(

Love the design & spec's. Looking foward to a future purchase, with one concern. I had a T-Wing by T-mobile, (great company) and the touch screen was very sensitive. While trying to remove the phone from the carrying case, it would automatically answer by touch (even on key lock, new phone no defects)when recieving calls. I believe the KF750 would work for(me)a host of consumers without touchscreen auto answering accidents. Hey, it maybe better than a Wing in this area...isn't it?

Well we started the selling of this model only yesterday, and the thing that strikes me the most is that it's incredibly slow to respond.
Besides that, I really like the build quality and the looks of the phone, but it's too slow for my taste.
I do think it's going to be a bestseller though, but I'll stick to my Viewty for now ;)

The lg kf750 secret is an amazing phone
i got mine 3 days ago and it excells in every area.
the phone is gorgeous to look at and has a top end premium look. it is lovely to hold and only occasionally can it feel top heavy when texting long messages.
i have had not one problem with the software freezing and the neon touch pad works a charm. not false presses it is accurate as using buttons.
the interface is smooth and looks goog on the temperd glass screen.
one big plus is that when you use the phone outside the sunlight doesnt interfere too much with the legibility. it is perfectly usable especially if using colourful backgrounds as opposed to the black ones.
top notch camera. it is as good as my old nokia n95 and thats a fact.
battery life seems pretty good but im of the opinion that now adays its acceptable to put your phone on charge for 20 mins in the morning. first charge on the phone lasted nearly 2 days and that was with lots and lots of playing around with features music and camera.
all in all a lovely phone that is easy on the pocket and lovely to use.
yes i know it doesnt have wifi but realistically do you really need wifi. i had it on my n95 and only used it a handful of times.
by the way the supplied headphones, although you need an adapter are pretty good. however i use a pair of bose in the ear phones and the sound is great.
i cant recommend my enough and thats from someone who has recently owned an xda orbit, samsung f490 and nokia n95 8gb.
i bought mine on ebay for £280. keep your eye out.
