I am using this phone for about a month.
I dont know how to get java games or applications for this.
Can any one tell me something about it that it supports java or not

yar in ma pc it doesnt need any installation for usb its directly plugs into the usb port and u can use it as a data traveller

and yes u can set mp3 songs as ringing tones or alarm tones :D quality of sound and camera is good

when u saved and send a msg those msgs can be found in out box

Anybody know how to upload/ download data from the phone via USB cable? I have installed the USB driver but still no go.

-i m using this cell for 12 days and i m very happy with ma dicission to purchase it
a very nice set in all respects if v consider 7k range
-1 thing i wanna ask mr owais did u play urself mpeg4 format file on ur mobile??
-it makes video on two format 3gp and mp4 and also play videos of the same formats but of limited reoslution i.e 174*140 i read this on its booklet so no ambiguity
-its sound is also good but not very loud as compare to sony ericsson and nokia sets
-its camera cant takes pics in 1024 by 786 and 800 by 600 resolutions and directly jumps 640 by 480 to 1280 by 1024 there is no middle range :( but if performance is concerned then its good it takes good pictures
-t is sure that u cant download new games and fone supplied with built in 3 games
-other thing is that u cant download new themes or even u dont hav any option to change its theme or may be it is possible that i could not find it in two weeks :)
-batry life is good if u daily use its music player for 3 hrs its gives u two days or else otherwise its gives 3 days avg.
-it record sound in two formats AMR low quality and WAV modrate quality. In 28 mb of free space it can record for 12 hrs in AMR format 2 hrs in wav format. it also records FM radio in both formats.
-i think i can not store more than 150 sms
-it works like a usb drive direct plug and play feature is very nice and no need to install any software on windows xp and 2000 i dont know about win 98
-overall its a nice set and every body loves to have it :)

Hi plz any one tell me truth about this kg200 what abt its true battery life with music and it can support which video format e.g mpeg,asf or which and can its record video in sec or upto memory plz tell me all things and how many sms were store in it

i have just bought it yesterday and it is amazing!!!!!i am searching this set for 1 month from the first time i saw it in a news paper.everyone who is puzzle dont worry just buy it!!!!!!!!there will be no complain and one thing in this i like is that that it also contain 3GP,mpeg4,MP4 so buy it and enjoy it

I am using this phone LG KG200 for the last one month. It is a very good phone in all terms. Very good camera, FM, music player, large memory and memory slot. I is very compact and sound is also excellent (just think it is a mobile phone!). The package comes complete with USB cable, stereo earphone with mic and travel charger (110-220V) so you can use in trains also. I found all features especially FM and music player working in an excellent way. In addition, there are some added functionalities, like the intelligent mode, human voice mode and good ring tone styles as well as melody composer. The software for PC sync, PC address book and GPRS modem can be easily downloaded from LG site and is fun to install. LG KG200 can work like a USB drive also.
Now the negative points which I noticed:
1. I could not find where the sent sms messages are stored. Well you can save sms before sending and it can show you message sent delivery note also. But there is no record of sent message details with date and time anywhere. This is embarassing!
2. There is no java support i think. Simply meaning you can not upload new games.
3. Battery life is ok. If we use heavily FM and MP3, naturally we have to charge frequently!

In a nutshell, you will not repent buying this at this price (7.5K roughly in mumbai)with features available only in high end models of other brands.

If anyone finds solution of drawbacks as detailed above, kindly post the same here.

yah .. Usb cable were available ... but no cd inside .. becoz when we plug usb to pc.. no sotftware were needed.. direct detect ka mobile and your mobile drive will be shown in pc display... only on XP windows.. well one thing is interesting, 2 day before i buy the 512mb card from shop on only 750 rupees.. that amazing..

I am using this phone for 15 to 16 days.It has only one problem that is it does not support JAVA.
Its rubbish that i read each and everything abt it before buying it.
Yet this stupid problem.....

The battery life of this mobile is very very good you can take as pic as u want bettery time is good compare t0 s5200 .

well hi every body LG kg200 is a great phone it has every thing and it is very cheap as compared to its qualities although infrared and bluetooth but its usb system is great i will say that its usb system is better than bluetooth its speed is 10 times more than bluetooth and the phone can easily be connected to your pc and you can send files to your mobile and you can also send files from your phone to your pc. And lets move on to its camera, its camera is also great it takes pictures clearly and you can save as many pictures you want. It also has FM Radio and you can also record songs from radio and save it in your phone and there is another option you can save the recorded file in two formats AMR,WAV these are the two formats. It also has a very large amount of memory and you can also insert memory card in this phone. It also has a very good speaker. IN THE END I WILL SAY THAT THIS IS A GREAT SET AND I WILL SUGGEST THAT YOU BUY THIS SET. GREAT SET.
