This phone is a piece of crap. It's broken a number of times on me. I've had to have the battery replaced each time and they also wiped all my contacts, so I had to start from scratch again. This phone is a NUISANCE.

I got this phone about 6 months ago and it was pretty good,,,apart from the fact tht is didnt have bluetooth or video it was ok,,,then i dropped it about 30cms and it died. i took it to be repaired and they said it had a faulty battery,,then when they gave it back it still didnt work!!!! so i took it again..and the lg people said the warrenty had expired which it haddnt!!! i had only had it for 6 months and the warrenty was 1 year!! so i gave up cause i already wasted 2 much time on this $99 phone!!

Hi,
I own the KG 220. I have for a fair while now. I haven't found too many problems with it, I think I'm just a bit over it. It impressed me at first because it was my first phone, but now I just hate it.
The Bad: -Camera is fuzzy and
slow, no matter how
still you hold it
-Annoying to text with
sometimes, if fingers
are big, no use; Small
keys.
-Chips easily...
-Not many features at all.
-Battery lasts about 2-3
days, then needs charging
once again- frustrating.
The Good:
-Very good for it's price
-Good for younger kids
-Menu colour options are
OK.. (but get boring.)
-Cute at first

omg annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd the battery lasts about 2-3 days!!! sooo annoying!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. have to charge it soooooo much

oh yeah- forgot to say.... the camera is reallllly slow, and sometimes it does a little 'mental' shall we put it. =p

I have had this phone for exactly a year a few days ago, and it actually doesn't have any problems so far. Besides me HATING IT!! The camera is so crap, its all fuzzy no matter how still u hold it, its annoying to text with, has ZERO featres, cant set ya own sounds as tones.. + lame tones anyway. its probably ok for young kids 8-11.. or old granny farts with their first fone. but I've grown out of it and i hate it. its boring.
overall its cheap, but then again, if u want a phone with a bit of style, features and half decent camera, DO NOT buy this. =]

i agree. i have bought this phones since last year and havent had any problems with it like everyone else is saying. i think it depend what country you get it in...
lg phones are becoming extremely widely accepted, and it is getting better in quality and price as well.
this phone is although simple, it has many positives.
i love my pink one!!!!

Hi guys,i love the lg kg 220 'cos its strong and rugged.i bought it since november 2006 and it has'nt developed any fault at all. lg company is a great company. keep it up.

i bought this in january 2007, and so far, i had to get it repaired THREE times! and guess what? its broken again!!
This time, i'm asking for a refund - it has frustrated me too many times...
whatever you do, dont buy LG, especially this phone. its not value for money

well at 1st i loved this phone sooo much but as soon as i started high skool i relised it has like zero features and tha camera takes fuzzy pictures no matter how still you hold it! most of my friends got this phone too and they all started to brake or DISSAPEAR as they say i think its a very cheep phone and is verry good 4 its price but ive had mine 4 only 9 months and its stuffed! the battery will not charge and as soon as i put it on the charger the screen turns off and wont turn back on!!! but now it wont even turn on coz it has no battery charge left and it wont charge i ♥ my phone but its quite gay as well

Hey every one i have researched alot a phone simalar to this and it sound like a great phone... I'm get a phone that is simalar to the LG Aloha and it's also identical to this one but it doesn't have a camera... LG is a great company and i'm sure that that this is another great make, like the chocolate and enV...

i have the pink version. i think that the pink is better than the white, but thats just my opinion. not many people have the white one.
