The best way to transfer files from computer to phone and vice versa is to buy a bluetooth dongle. Put this in computer usb port and conect your phone via bluetooth. job done. Simple. Hope this helps everyone.

Hello I did buy an LG KG290 but few problems with it: no usb cable with it, I did insect a memory card but when receiving any song it says not enough memory... why?I'M NOT HAPPY

can't buy a bluethoot and transfer all the music to the mobile? or ... it doesn't working?
the mobile supports 1gb card?

use your sd card in your pc but hang it does rattle on about a usb connection in the hand book if i keep looking maybe I'll find it.

hey i just got s new memory card. and i was just wondering how do i get the songs off my computer to the KG290 because there doesnt seem to be any USB cable and i cant figure out how to get it working

This looks great in both black and silver. The phone comes with what it comes with. Quit complainig becaise if it doesnt have soemthing youre looking for...why bother buy it in the first place? Its plain common sense! Look, check, rate then buy.

i got a silver one for christmas, much better than black. anyway this is urgent info!
if you want to use the MP3 player, buy a micro sd card and straight out of the box put it in the phone and transfer any picture to it. then take it out of the phone and put it in your pc. when you acces it it will have the phones 4 folders. then drag mp3's into the sounds folder. put the card back in the phone and go to mp3 player - all songs - external memory and there are all your mp3's!

i relised it would let me play tones so i went to reset all settings & i trned it off & now its asking me for a security code & i have no idea WHAT SO EVER what it is i am really freaking out because my dad brought me this phone Soo PLASEE someone get back to me on how to fix this many thnakss

This is my 3rd LG after C2500 & KU250. and i realy dont like this kg290. no usb cable, memory slot under battery, no device driver cd, bad cam shot (for 1,3 mpx), small internal memory cap, and worst thing NO MULTITASKING. better pick ku250 or kg300.

It's a shame this phone does not support voice dialling.This phone also cannot open pictures that are greater than 1280x960 pixels,so ask your friends to reduce pixel size before taking a picture and bluetoothing it to you.

Could someone please explain how to download mp3s to this phone? when I connect USB, theu ask to insert the external memory, I don't have one... so, I cannot download songs or what?
