I got mine 2 days ago.
Bought it without contract in greece 400 e. its a beautifull phone. Looks just like an i-pod!!! its really a magnet for other peoples eyes! functions are great. it comes with a carrying case, headset, usb cable. the camera although 1,3 mp is fine, the menu is easy to use and the ext keypad so nice to use.about cons now, the phone gets very dirty and u can also see tiny scratches after some days of use, and there is a problem too with answering a 2nd call due to the ext keys lock them selves after a 3 sec period. i think its a phone for gentile use yet its more beautifull than anything else on the market at the moment. u should buy it!

LG Stands for Lakhee Geumsung which, in English, means Lucky Goldstar. Lakhee is a chemical company, Geumsung is an electronics company. They were founded by one man but just had different names. In 1994, the grandson of the founder took over the group and came up with one name for the entire group and its subsidiaries, LG.

If this phone doesn't have a sim card slot, how does it work with GSM providers? For example, if I buy this phone (I live in the US), how will I use this with my Cingular service provider?

I've heard the phone is called Chocolate coz its a metaphor for desire and is irresistible.
Personally, it's just drop dead gorgeous.

Got this phone, think its the best phone i've ever had. Touch pad is surprisingly responsive and the whole user experience has been an utter pleasure.
Would definately buy an LG phone again. Keep up the good work LG!

Had this phone a week now, and I love it more every day... yeah it's got some quirks and some downsides... but having been a Nokia user all my life, I've found the user interface very easy to get on with... plus it is the best looking phone on the market by far!

well, because apparantly it looks like a chocolate bar, to me it just looks like a sharp TM100. Now this phone was supposed to have been very BIG in Korea everyone wanted it like everyone wanted the D500 aka Samsung black over here. LG isn't much of a well known brand in the UK people still are not very familiar with it like they are in Korea even though LG single handedly invented Hi Definition television but thats another story. This phone in terms of its productivity is nothing special only 128MB memory with no memory card slot to expand on but most people have some form of mp3 player elsewhere these days so i dont think thats a problem. I personaly wouldn't swap it for a Samsung slider, Samsung phones look much more slick and atractive a la D800.
